I have a PowerShotG6 camera that got a little damp and now won't take an image, can it be repaired?

I have a PowerShot G6 digital camera. It got a little damp and now won't take an image. Every thing else on the camer works. Can I get it fixed?

Hi,
The cost of a repair for that camera would be more than its worth.
You can try drying it out more by openeing the battery compartmen, remove the battery and button cell battery (if it has one)t and placing it in a closed container with silica gel or if your handy take some of the covers off, blow out the moisture with air let it sit and dry with silica gel and keep your fingers crossed. Look at the used ones that are for sale on the net, the G5's sell for about $35 working $50 with accessories.
