I have a problem when installing the Developer Suite

Hello,
I'm new to Oracle and I'm having a problem when installing the Developer Suite 10g. I have the Oracle Database 11g installed, but when I try to istall the developer, it gives me this error: "Oracle Developer Suite 10g cannot be installed into an existing Oracle9i 9.2.0.1.0 oe higher Oracle Home", Although I have installed the same thing twice before and it was working.
Please help me with this :(

If you are linux-unix level you are making installation wiht same user of Oracle Db11g? Did you try to create new Oracle_home and set it before start installation?

Problem #2 is not a problem. We have been able to somewhat install Oracle when those warnings appear. The client install works fine with those warning messages in the terminal window. NOTE: They are just warnings...

Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library' and start.

Problems when installing the SAP Netweaver 2004s Trial version on Fedora 9

Dear all,
I have been trying to install the SAP Netweaver 2004s Trial version on Fedora 9, 64 bit, x86_64, but have not been able to accomplish this correctly.
New to the Linux environment as well, and hence not completely sure about the issues here. According to the steps outlined for the installation, i downloaded and installed the IBM Java SDK and then executed the install.sh script file from the download.
The installation went well, but when i try to start the sap system using the command startsap, i get the error message command not found.
Could anyone please guide.

Problem when installing the Apple Security update 2008-02

I just installed the Apple Security update 2008-02 in my server and now it's giving me problems!
It strips off the server's settings pane (where you can see the serial number) in Server Admin and keeps the "Sharing" button in the Workgroup Manager thus preventing me to do change file permissions!
I also cannot remotely administer it with server admin 10.5 as it says: "Unable to proceed. The server has returned bad version information and can't be administered with server admin right now."
What the * happened??

Anyway, I have resolved the issue. I just re-installed the the Mac OS X Server 10.4.11 combo update and everything goes back to normal.

From what I can gather, the NX client should ask you for your SSH login. You need to specify your administrator account here. If you have terminal access, you can also try to type "sudo su -", which will prompt you for your current account password and then log you in as user root. You need at least 512 MB of internal memory for Developer. If you have this, then you will need to add swap space. This is done at the operating system level, not by Forms. Search the Internet for your operating system and you will find out how to do this.

I do not have any problems when downloading the new itunes. 10.6.3 version, but once "installed" I cannot open the itunes app by clicking on the icon, help please!

When attempting to download the new version of itunes I was able to complete the download without a problem but cannot open the icon when everthing is done. I unistalled everything and reinstalled, I followed all the trouble-shooting guides, I attempted to download an older version and nothing is working. Prior to attempting to download this "new and improved version of itunes" everything was working fine. Unfortunately I had to update when I got a new iPhone and wanted to sync it to my old library and needed an updated version of itunes.

Restart Computer.
Refer steps here to delete SC file(s):

Then proceed to repair your QuickTime. START > CONTROL PANEL
WinXP - Add n Remove Programs

Problem when instaling the SJAS 8 beta on windows xp

After downloading the setup file,
i have this error message
"There are no file requiring installation"

I have found that there is difference between size on site and the one which gets downloaded. I have tried to download 4-5 times however each time i got almost 40mb-44mb BINARY while on site it shows it is of 106-113mb, let me also tell u that there is no problem with my internet connection & there is no network problem, as after completing download i was able to view the mesg that 106.5MB has been downloaded & saved to the disk.

Problem with Installing the Oracle8i PO into Windows ME

I think I have the same problem as some of you had. Recently, I bought the Oracle Book and it has 3 discs: 1 for Oracle Developer 6 for Win 95 or 98, 1 for Oracle 8i PO (release 8.1.5) for Win 95, also 1 for Win 98.
My computer had no problem when I installed the Or. Developer. However, my computer won't allow me to install the Oracle 8i PO Win 98 disc. Instead of that, I have no problem of installing the Oracle 8i PO Win 95 disc. After I installed the Win 95 disc with all correct configuration according to the instructions, I can not CONNECT to the database. So, is this mean the Windows ME is compatible with the Win 95 disc? Or my computer is "screw up"? Because I know Win Me is very much the same as Win 98. If I installed the Win 98 disc, it should be ok. Anyway, I installed the Win 95 disc successful, but can not CONNECT.
So if anyone can help me out, or need a specific error message, I will post up next time. For now, I think I already gave you guys a "head-ache"... sorry.... Thanks all! Wait for your helps guys!

Where exactly should the JDK be installed?

Does it make any difference to install a different version of JDK when the installation guide clearly recommmends the usage of one version?
Absolutely yes,,but It somehow worked for 08 for me. go ahead with 09 as per recommendation.
Where can I find SAPINST_JRE_HOME? The installation no where asks for any input where I can mention the directory of Java installation.
You can put environmental variable called SAPINST_JRE_HOME=<Your JDK Installation path> where ever and make sure it's in the path, veryifying with PATH
on cmd-prompt. and follow the above URL as it clearly says the same problem
Also disable any ant-virus if it's running
