It is possible that the website isn't compatible with Firefox 13.0.1.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

The first thing to try is changing your DNS settings - and for that you need to open System Preferences, then the
Network section.
In Network - click on Advanced - then the DNS tab
under DNS servers - use the + button to enter two extra lines
either these, from google dns
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
or from OpenDNS
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
then click OK & then 'Apply'
You would need to do that seperately for the Cable (Ethernet) settings and Wireless (Airport)

This problem start since last 2 weeks follow by myapple ID used by someone to purchase a app and I call my credit card to cancel my credit card I use . I try to reset the password and change my credit card information in my APP store but my apple ID still disabled. Please kindly help and advice what should I do.

If you've already reset the password and changed your payment information, then the next best thing to do is call Apple directly and ask for iTunes Billing Support. Your account is likely disabled on their computers as part of their fraud prevention protocol. You may have to verify yourself as the account holder to get the account enabled again.

Problem with internet banking?!?

I bank with PC Financial which is a phone/internet based bank, i.e. no tellers. I tried to log on and i get the message: The connection was reset, The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. I assumed this was a problem with the banks website so i called them to see what the problem was.
they informed me that Firefox was to blame and to use a different browser, so i tried on safari and there was no problem. I love firefox and don't want to switch but I also need to be able to intenet bank. is anyone aware of this problem? and when will it be fixed?

Try clearing Safari. Go to settings>Safari>Clear Cookies>Clear Data. If the site needs access to pop up windows, also select >Block Pop Ups>Off. Last of all make sure that Java Script is On in the Safari settings as well.

That is a problem with Silverlight
On a Mac, Firefox 4 is a 64 bit application. 
Not all plugins support 64 bit and if not then you need to start Firefox in 32 bit mode to use that plugin.
# Close Firefox
# Start the Finder and open the Applications folder
# Right click or control-click the Firefox.app icon
# Select "Get Info"
# Select or Deselect "Open in 32-bit mode"
# Close the "Firefox Info" window

I have major problem with my SL. HELP!

Hello I'm newbie here. I need HELP! When SL first time restart and when it start up... I notice that my clock on top right corner the ":" didn't flash. It shows like 12 34 56 not 12:34:56.
So I look up the system preferences and the checkmark is still there beside "flash between the time separators. I tried to uncheckmark it then checkmark, nothing success.
Also I notice that the network / internet disconnected often not like the Leopard. I had to turn the AirPort off and then turn it back on. I check on Network Diagnostics and the Internet / Server failed sometime. I have no problem with that when I was on Leopard in the same spot (wireless shows full bar) before I upgraded to Snow Leopard.
Sorry for my horrible english grammar. I'm deaf that's why.

When I upgrade, it remaining in English nothing changed. But the network connection still have issue and the suggestion in other thread still don't work. The flash of ":" won't flashing. It still off even the checkmark is still there. UGH I need HELP since no body respond to my help!

You might want to consider "voting with your feet" and taking your business to another bank. When they tell you the upgrade is the problem, it is really their problem and not yours. If you don't want to do that, the suggestion that you try another browser is absolutely correct.

Try to redo the default browser and make another browser like IE the default browser and then let Firefox do it again.

The site was designed around FP 10 and the link they have to download FP 10 nowalso directs to FP 13. I followed the "How to revert to FP 11.7 (Chris Campbell Oct 2013) along with the uninstall instructions link and now have both zip FP 10.3 and zip 11.7 in my downloads. I attempted to run FP 11.7, the "winax" file for IE after unzipping it but I am blocked bya window that says I cannot do this and must install FP 13. The only choice in this window, other than downloading is QUIT. What is the best approach now. The website is Auckland Council and the window concerned is "GIS Viewer". neither Chrome or IE will open it.

There is only one uninstaller for Windows that will uninstall both 32- and 64-bit versions of the Flash Player. At one point there were two separate installers (one for 32-bit OS and another for 64-bit OS), but that has not been the case for a long time. Based on the error, it's possible you may using an older version of the uninstaller (to find out the version of the uninstaller, right-click on the file, select properties, then the 'details' tab). The latest version is always posted to this link, and will work on both 32- and 64-bit operating systems. If you get the same error using this uninstaller, please post the contents at the end of the FlashInstall.log file, that show the uninstall attempt. Since you have a 64-bit OS, there will be two files at the following locations:
32-bit: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

At the same moment, a message appears saying that Firefox has prevented the page from automatically reloading. When I respond to that message by clicking the Allow button next to the message, Firefox appears to reboot the web page and the same message of preventing automatic reloading reappears. I experience the same problem with the New York Daily News website and some others but with other websites such as the BBC I experience no problem.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. it's well known, that in all these cases you describe I'm not a friend of a detailed Troubleshooting (I see Nancy#s smile already).
To be able to be independent in all this things It is one of the reasons why I prefer an external FTP program. The difficulties with which you have to fight encourage me in this opinion, not least because we always search for experts, we don't charge a "jack of all trades".
To manage several websites or to upload my files and sometimes for the opposite way, for a necessary download from my server or to use a "a site-wide synch", I'm using FileZilla. It simply looks easier for me to keep track of all operations precisely and generate or reflect easily the desired tree structure.
Above all, FileZilla has a feature (translation from my German FileZilla) called "compare file list". Here it's possible to use file size or modification time as a criterion. There is also the possibility to "hide identical files", so that only these files which you want to redact remain visible.
And even if it means you have to install a new program, I am convinced that there is an advantage. Here is the link to get it and where you can read informations about how it works:
