If you have BES, then you need to talk to your BES admin for the proper method to activate your BB on BES.
If you do not have BES, then you should not even be going into anything related to Enterprise email...instead, you should see Internet or Personal email setup in addition to Enterprise. If you do not see Internet or Personal, then your device is not properly activated by your mobile service provider for BIS-level Internet/Personal email services...contact them for assistance.

- Make sure the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It is the little hole on the back by the camera lens(if has back camera). For the 16 GB one without the back camera the mic hole is on the top edge near the center.
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Hello, i have a problem with the mic/audio plug, when i plug my mic/headphones (Razer Electra / iPhone headset / HTC Headset) in to the plug, i get sound from the headphones, but the mic isn't recognized, i've tried uninstalling the drivers and installing them again, nothing works. Please, help me

I admit that I cannot be sure that we have the same problem.
But saying that it is not likely to be a design issue (or an issue for a specific batch) because you know 30 people without this issue, is also not really sustaining....
The specific issue is that the mic is not working when having a phone call, but that it is working with other apps (like voicerecording) also putting the phone on the speaker works.
Obviously you are a experienced moderator of this forum and you might even have connections within Apple Support. So in spite of reprimand me, it would be nice to get a solution for this issue, which apperently many iPhone4 users suffer reading these posts....

Recording problems with condenser mics

ok, i have a CAD GXL 2400 condenser large diaphragm mic and a fast track pro liking into my grageband. I am having major major volume problems, where no matter what combinations i use between the gain of the microphone and the levels of my instruments in grageband, theres always some problem with the volume. usually its that my voice becomes so backround to the instruments that its not driving the melody that it should, and also, with me making the gain higher to try to get more volume, the mic will pick up too much of my voice and it will just sound more like static. if i finally get my voice to be heard how i would want it to be, all my instruments are turned down so low (normally lower than -15) that the song really has no power behind it. what should i do?

no normally the clip light doesnt come on, ive talked with people from multiple tech supports, such as sweetwater, and their advice was to sing into the mic and get the gain to where the clip was coming on with my voice, then turn the gain just barely below that to get the best sound. it did help, but not enough to fix my problem.

im not sure if this thread will go very far as most people on this forum have problems with their players, which is why they are here. some, like me, just come to help. so i think this is the wrong place to be asking about it, but generally it is considered that its only a small percentage that have problems. and there is a very strong support network if it does go wrong.

I have a problem with my mic on my iPhone 4s...

Today I was at the gym. As I finished I went to make a call but the recepent could not hear me. I then tried using Siri but the same, I tried blowing into the mic and it shows that it picked up the noise. I have left it in a tub of rice for 6 hours but there is still a problem, should I leave it in there for longer or should I just take it to an Apple shop? I dont want to do the later as the nearest shop is 100 miles away.

Are you using a headset or the iPhone itself? Test without the case if you have a protective case on the iPhone.

Big problem with USB mic in on headset

I have a USB logitech 250 headset which I use on both windows (2Kserver & XP) and Mac OSX. The headset works fine on both PCs but I get wierd input readings on the Mac (G5). At first the input is OK and works fine but once you ask it to do something such as make a voice recording in Audion or Garageband or use it in Skype, after about 10-30 seconds it seems to crash. Then it sounds like it samples the first half second of any input after that via the microphone and loops it over and over again until the headset is unplugged. I can't hear it live through the speakers or headphones but I can see it happening on the microphone input levels in system preferences and can record it in any audio software. I've tried it in every usb port and it makes no difference.

I have this exact same problem, except I am trying to get the headset (a Logitech Premium USB Headset 350) to work with Teamspeex. I've tried two other headsets as well to no avail.
The behavior is the same, seems to be working fine using the input levels in the Sound Preferences as a guide, when I startup the audio application, the inputs locks up and seems to only have a split second of audio which it sends over and over again. Such that if I say "Test" it will result in "TesTesTesTesTesTesTes" and the input levels in the Sound Preferences shows the same thing over and over too.
I plugged this same headset into PowerBook G4 and it works flawlessly with the same software, no problems what-so-ever.
Would love to hear if you found a solution.

Yes, Have Micro and it is second one in 4 months, Had to send st one back because it froze up and wouldn't turn on or play. The second one is doing the same thing within 3 months with very little use. My new Micro won't go through recovery mode. This is second time it has froze up on me, phone support walked me through recovery mode and I reformatted and reloaded all my music, updated firmwar and now it has done the same thing, WHAT'S UP!!!!!

you won't be able to hear your MIC untill you check in this
but if you mean by not working that it's not working on skype
so i will ask you please to check your setting in Skype
then try to make the new MIC as default
then try using Windows Recorder
if windows recorder can detect sound so there is no reason for fear
but if the problem remained i will ask you to try another MIC
** Don't forget to check your Sound Drivers

Problems with my mic I guess

People are having a hard time hearing me whenever I call or they call me. I can hear them just fine, perfectly in fact. I have full service at all times when this is occuring too. I'm not sure if it is a user issue or a technical problem that needs servicing. On a side note, I do have all the volumes turned up (i.e. ringer and speaker volume). Just not sure!! Help!!

interesting... if it's reproducible i'd show the folks at your nearest genius bar... they should replace it no problem if they can't fix it... if you were on speakerphone i'd say that's reasonable... however, in this case... it should be crystal clear.

Were you able to set your phone via speaker mode while you're in a call? Where are you located, btw? It seems that you're trying to use some of the speech commands, right? You may check this link to see if you're current region is included from the list: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/how-to/wp8/basics/feature-and-service-availability. You may also update the phone's system apps from the Settings > swipe left, applications > store > check for updates. Keep us posted.
