Each email entry begins with a boxes to check, if you want to delete separate or multiply listing. The boxes are now dashes the only way I can delete an email is to tag on to it, which it will open the email. If it's a thin 1 pixel wide vertical line it's highly likely it could be caused by a defective LCD.
One quick basic way to check is to note the position of the line. Then go to System Preferences, Displays, and lower the resolution. If ther line moves it's on the video and the logic board or video card if fitted is likely to be defective. If the line stays in the same position it's likely to be an LCD fault. Either way to have it repaired you'll need to visit an Apple store or AASP.
The worst offender for this problem is the Late 2006 17" iMac. FOC replacement of the LCD used to be covered by a quality program, but it's now ended.

I got the same error and can't get it to work. My email and home address have not changed in the 3 years I've been using this device, my credit card info is up to date and my most recent rental was 2 days ago yet I get the error message on both the Apple TV and in iTunes. Try deleting the entries from the Movies part of your library (i.e. where you are trying to play them) and see if you get the cloud symbol next to them for re-downloading in the Purchased link

Url used to show in the url box when opening from a shortcut or email, but now it's not there. If I refresh the page it is. How do I get this back the way I like it?

The url of the website that I'm visiting used to show in the url box when I opened from a shortcut or email. But not it's not there unless I refresh the page. I've looked and haven't found a way to set this so that it works like it used to. I liked being able to click in the address bar and copy the link, or even to look there and see where I am.

I'm unable to check it in safe mode because the only time it happens is when I click a link and have not firefox open. For example if I would click a link in my email right now, it would open in another tab and show the address of the link I clicked. But if I didn't not have this window open and clicked alink, it would open a new window and I wouldn't be able to see the url.

Emails that I've sent on my ipad don't show in the "sent" box. Also, I can't attach a sound to sent emails.

I have been having the same problem.
Since August 3, Mail has not received any new messages from my hotmail account. Up until August 3, Mail has been performing flawlessly for years, handling three different email accounts [two of the accounts were disabled in Mail a few months ago].
I have the "Activity" window [Window>Activity] in Mail open. The activity window clearly shows that Mail is "Preparing to retrieve messages". But nothing is retrieved. And when I go to my email via web browser, it clearly shows that I have received email messages since August 3.
And the Connection Doctor in Mail [Window>Connection Doctor] clearly shows a green light for my hotmail/Outlook account.
I have no clue what is happening.
Just for giggles, I enabled my other other email accounts. Both retrieved emails flawlessly. Maybe Hotmail/Outlook has changed some of its security settings???

If this is a new box you just bought ad the disk is bad, Apple will replace it for you. OTOH, if you have lost the disk or it has become damaged over time, that is your responsibility, and though I don't speak for Apple, I'd be very surprised if you had any option other than buying another copy.

I am using report wizard of Reports Developer 9 to create report for Sybase database. Assume the Sybase database uses the following setting:
user: sa
password: password
computer IP address: 10.0.187.30
computer host name: development
port number: 2468
database name: TEST01
If I use sybase-merant (JDBC Query) as the data connection, I need to input USERNAME, PASSWORD and DATABASE at the Connection Box. What should I input for the DATABASE? I have inputted "sa" as the USERNAME and "password" as the PASSWORD. When I inputted "10.0.187.30:2468:TEST01" as the DATABASE, I got error which indicated the data source cannot be connected. I have also tried "10.0.187.30,2468:TEST01", "10.0.187.30:2468", "10.0.187.30,2468" and "10.0.187.30", but none of them worked.

If you go through the link, mentioned above, an entry is needed to register a JDBC-Driver for your database(sybase).
Driver entry contains a attibute "connectString", which contain the
connection syntax to the datbase.
connectString = "mainProtocol:subProtocol://databaseName"
mainProtocol and subProtocol part of the connection String are defined in config file and "databaseName" has to be mentioned in JDBC Query Connection Diloag.
Sample databasename : database:portnumber
Here database refer to the sybase database user want to connect and portnumber : port on which its running(it will be normally 4100 or 5000).
Please refer the comments in file ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf/JDBCPDS.CONF for more detail.

After you place the iPod in recovery mode using
iOS: Unable to update or restore
You have to then connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. Are you doing that?

Why do I have a red alert pellet on the system pref icon in IOS 6.0.1 ?

My iPhone 5 is new and from the start there has been a red alert pellet above the System Preferences icon, exactly like the one above the telephone app to indicate a message.

Why isn't there an option to record future shows using the HD box linked to a Multi room DVR setup?

I have a multi room DVR in my livingroom and HD boxes in my 2 bedrooms. Currently if you are viewing a program on one of the HD boxes you are able to record the live program you are viewing as the HD box will enable your DVR to record that show.
Why hasn't FIOS enabled the settop boxes that are part of a multi room DVR setup to be able to record future shows? Needless to say, if I am lying in bed at night and see something in the program guide airing at a future date I really don't want to get out of bed and walk to the living room, turn on the TV and DVR and then program that new recording.
If I have missed something and you can do this please let me know. Otherwise FIOS should add this to their customer's wish list and enable recording for future times on the HD boxes that are part of your multi room DVR system!

You can already do that. Highlight the show in the guide and press the record button. You should get a pop up with the option to Set Reminder or Record on your DVR. If it doesn't check your DVR to ensure that availability is extended to the STB you are using.

Tried to update to ios6.1, but after that my ipad show s the connect to itunes and stuck there.

tried to upgrade my ipad from 6.0.1 to 6.1 yesterday, then got screen got stuck at connect to itunes pic. my itune is up to date.

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

TS4002 I subscribed to serveral communities for email. I have over a thousand emails, now the mail box in icloud says I can't open my mail account. I have ML . I have been deleting little by little, can I delete it all?

I have tried deleteing all the mail, by selecting all to erase. I have done 5 at a time, 10 at a time by zooming out. Now I can not get into the mail box. I was sent a message saying I am not able to acess my mail. It is a me.com acct. I have 40gb of storage. Any suggestions of how to get rid of this mail? I don't want to give up my email address. Thanks. I did manage to stop all communty email and notifications. So no more email is coming. Again, thanks to anyone who can help me! An Alias would be an email address that is delivered to a different account's inbox.
For instance if you have [email protected] and have [email protected] Then [email protected] would be an alias if mails from that address arrive at the icloud address.
If you want to add a completely different account, with a spearate inbox, like an account in hotmail and one in say yahoo mail. Then as has been pointed out, you need to go into the Settings Icon, Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then on add account. The iPad has several services preconfigured, you can tap on one of those from the list to setup an email for that service. Such as Hotmail, Gmail etc...
Or you can tap on other to add a personal pop3 or imap type email like from your office, or your school.
