I have a single song that is on my iPod Classic 7 but the artist does not appear and under "artists" in the music it doesn't appear, nor does it in albums. All the information on the song is correct the artist just will not appear. Why is this?

All the information is correct and filled correctly, I have chacked seven times, but it still will not appear, why?

Any funny characters in the artist or album names? I take it that it is not hiding for the reasons given in Missing Artist or Album not with others by same artist? Sort fields can sometimes cause items to be listed in a different place within the list. Can you find it using search on the device?

WMP is a windows proprietary format.
It is not supported on iOS devices.
QuickTime player is built into ios and used for all video playback-nothing is being converted.
You can try downloading an alternate player that can playback wmp or use a computer.

Then it gives me options under drop down menu but Master Collection CS6 is the only one not appearing in a drop down menu.

Your CS6 must have been purchased as an upgrade. What it is asking you to select/provide is the name/serial number of the previous version you purchased that qualifies you to install and activate the CS6 upgrade version... this would be likely be one of CS3 thru CS5.5.

I had this same problem and started a thread, but for the most part nobody responded and those who did somehow didn't understand what the problem was.

I'm sure the problem is sweat getting into the apple supplied headphone "remote." Basically even the smallest drop can slide down the wire and get into the unit.
Unfortunately I haven't found a solution other than to get a Belkin remote adapter and some sport headphones. This doesn't give you voice over, but you can still control the volume, skip, etc.
I've been doing this for a couple weeks now and it hasn't had a freak out since.

It should sync the same if the songs are the same. You can try:
- Unsyncing all music and resysncing
- Restoring the iPod

I do, and then it says my computer is already authorised, but it still won't play and repeats the cycle.
What do I do? It won't play on my computer, online, or on my ipod.
And yes, I've restarted my computer.

This may be a sign of a corrupt purchased file. Assuming that it was purchased from the iTunes store and iTunes in the Cloud is avaiable where you are, delete the problem file, close iTunes, reopen, then download from iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer. If redownloading is not an option contact iTunes store support through the report a problem links in your account history.

The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. You can try to repair your library. Once you are sure the files are all taken care of, you can sync the phone to remove all of the music and then sync again to add it back. That should take care of the issue.

Depending on how you created your account, "None" may or may not be an option. I believe it has something to do with whether the account was made through an App Store request or the regular iTunes Store. For example, my account allows no card but my father's doesn't allow there to be no card.
To change the card, go to your account settings and change the information to your new card, and hit save.
