I have a song on my ipod touch I can't get rid of. Even if I uncheck the artist and re-sync the file still is showing. It has a weird circle with a stop icon next to the file.

I also tried to manually manage the music files and removed them all from my ipod. But the file still remains. It only is appearing on my ipod touch, it does not show in itunes. And when I add the file that shows in itunes, it shows up twice. One is normal and the other has that stop button icon next to it. Please help.

You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

As far as recycling, they will take one, dead or alive, so I assume a shattered one would qualify just as well.

EUREKA, I found the solution to my problem in a Discussion initiated by gingertodd on July 27, 2011 entitled "Safari in Lion hijacked by malware." The solution was provided by Badunit who recommended force quitting Safari and then reopening it while holding down the Shift key. It worked instantly, and I subsequently was able to open Safari normally by just clicking on its icon in the Dock. THANK YOU BADUNIT!

Resetting your ipod would have no effect on your balance.
The balance is on the account, not the device.
Check your purchase history to see if something was purchased.
Check you computer and see if the balance is there.

Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.desktop.plist file to the Trash.

I bought a song on my ipod touch because It obviously has internet and I thought it wouldn't be a problem. I was able to download the song and listen to it on that ipod touch without any issues, however, I would like to be able to burn it to a cd, listen to it on my computer or otherwise be able to use it besides just on that ipod and I am unable to. Is there any way to do this? I thought there was since I have 2 other computers registered under this Apple ID...
I have even tried using outside software (Pod Revolution) which has worked in the past to back up music but it doesn't work this time because the song does not even show up on the device when I plug it in and open pod Revolution. You should be able to copy it over to your computer's iTunes by connecting the iPod to it and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.
