What's the precise text of that error message, please? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.) -
I have got a 13 inch MacBook Pro and it got stuck in a loop so I switched it off by holding the power button down and now when I switch it on the apple logo appears then I get a blank slot at the bottom of the screen then the circle appears and rotates and then it switches off again, I have tried starting it again with the system disc that came with it when it was new but it makes no difference. Is there a sequence that I can use to force it to start.

Take it to whoever replaced the screen and see if they can help you.
iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked. -

My Iphone started shutting down and switching back on by itself. After researching problem, lots of results pointed towards restoring phone. I commenced the process and all was going well until the phone shut down during the restore and Itunes then flagged up an error 21 code. I now am stuck as the phone is in restore mode but I can't stop it switching off during the process.
iTunes error code 21 is a security software conflict and the recommended knowledge base article for troubleshooting is: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3125 Check through that and see if it helps. If nothing works you may need to visit the Apple genius bar and have one of those people help clear it.

Yes. The upgrade broke your CS4 install. You have to reinstall.
Easiest way to fix this is to download the installer Download CS4 products and have your serial number at the ready.
Then you will need to download and install the updates for Photoshop, Camera Raw, and Bridge here: Product updates
There is a Terminal fix, but you have to be familiar with Terminal and running the python license Repair script. You will need the bash shell on your user account. If that makes sense to you, we can try that.

I have just donwloaded Firefox 5 to my Sony Vaio laptop and it keeps opening three tabs, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it happened again, how do I remove the two surplus tabs?
I finally managed to fix this problem! You have to go into your program files and you will see another bearshare folder, this has two add on components for firefox. Go into the folders, and find the uninstall program tools.
One of them will uninstall here. There is a program called media mrg or something along those lines in your add ons for firefox. You need to delete this, and it should stop bearshare popping up in the tabs. Then just to make sure, I went back and deleted the bearshare folder. You know you have disabled all the right components when it will finally let you delete the folder. -

I have version 3.6.16 and when I login to my hotmail account, and type the first letter of the email address, a drop down box appears with my hotmail address and I can choose it from that box with a click.

I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine. -

Looks like you restored your backup file to her phone. If you didn't back up your wife's phone first, then the data is gone, sorry.
