I have a subscription to Acrobat standard, How to reload ?

Hello,
I currently have a subscription to Acrobat Standard which I need to reload on my system.  I cannot find any instructions on how to do this, nor can I find a download location not linked to purchase.
Help.
Thanks

    Hi riffpizcy,
Error 148:3 is a licensing error.
Try following the steps mentioned in the KB: Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Windows
You can download Acrobat 9 Std. from: https://files.acrobat.com/a/preview/8d640488-4a92-4f7d-b50b-d8eb7f96bff8
You can upgrade from Acrobat 9 to Acrobat 11 Pro at $199 USD
Please refer: Buying guide | Adobe Acrobat XI Pro  for more information.

  • Acrobat Standard 7.0 Page handling

I have a client using Acrobat Standard 7.0 on Windows XP SP2.
A couple of weeks ago she noticed a change in her Acrobat print settings and did not know what the "problem" was. Long story short, I found that the "Choose Paper Source by PDF page size" option in the page handling section of the print window was checked and she had to uncheck it to get the print she wanted from the printer she wanted to print to. Only problem is that now that option is permanently active and she wants it permanently inactive.
How do i make this change?

Uncheck it and then go to the printer properties (not in the application, but in the printer menu) to set the default page size.

  • Acrobat Standard 6 and Reader 9: Outlook opens PDF with Standard

Background: We have one PC with Acrobat Standard 6 serving well enough for creating PDF's, but we also have Reader 9 installed on that machine to open certain newer-format PDF's that we download or that are emailed to us.
Issue: Reader 9 opens PDF's on the hard drive and PDF's online via either Internet Explorer or Firefox (so the Windows file type associations seems to be OK), but Outlook Express persists in opening PDF email attachments with Acrobat Standard 6.
Anyone know how to fix this? (I'm fine with making changes to the Registry if that will do it.)
    --John Hupp

I'm having a similar problem and am totally frustrated.
I have an old version of acrobat reader 5, but today I downloaded reader 9, but when I click on .pdf files online, I get the same message saying that I need reader 8 or 9 to open files on the web.... which I have!
I went in, after reading this thread, and made sure my 5 had the "display PDF in browser" UNCHECKED, and that it WAS checked in 9... but still no dice. For a few years now I've been unable to just click on and open pdf files online, and have been going a long route around by right clicking pdf's, clicking on "save target as", saving the files to my desktop, then opening reader 5 and going to file, open, and opening the file. What a huge pain in the butt though... all I want to do is be able to click pdf files and open them in my browser!!
Oh, and another bizarre thing that has happened is that since installing reader 9, all the icons on every pdf file on my computer has changed to the icon windows uses for files of an unknown type. Can't figure out why since when I double click any of these files, they open right up in reader 9.
I'm beyond irritated with trying to figure this out, so I'm open to any suggestions anyone has!

  • Adobe Acrobat Standard XI

I have purchased the Adobe Acrobat Standard XI in November as you can see below copy of the order email , but I didn’t saved the file I sued for the installation , now I need to download the file again as I changed the windows from 7 to 8 .
Please advice how can I download it again .
    Regards.

if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-xi-pro-standard-reader-direct-download-links.html
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

  • Acrobat Standard vs Pro when using SDK

    Hi,
I'm developing a prototype for a project using the Acrobat SDK. The client will have 13~ licenses for Acrobat standard and NOT Pro. For developing my prototype I downloaded the Acrobat trial which seems to only install the PRO edition and doesn't have the option to install the Standard Edition.
I need to know that the prototype and eventual product that will use the Acrobat SDK will work with the clients' Acrobat Standard installations and NOT require the client to upgrade to Pro.
My question is how can I know that the prototype and eventual product will require only Acrobat Standard and not Pro, since apparently I don't have access to an installation for the Standard edition but only the Pro edition? Is it the case that all the APIs are the same between Standard and Pro?
    Thank you kindly,
    Ben

Provided you don't use any APIs that are only in Pro and not in standard (and the number of those is VERY SMALL) - it will work just fine in Standard.   The documentation will tell you if a given API is Pro only.

  • Acrobat standard license validation process

I have downloaded Acrobat standard edition but unable to use it since the message I get is that the SW is unable to validate my subscription license. I must have missed something. Do let me know. Thanks.

Not sure from your question: did you take out and pay for a subscription to Acrobat Standard, current version?

  • Adobe Acrobat Standard, 2. download

I have previously purchased Adobe Acrobat Standard on the main pc for my employer, and now I need to install it on the mini pc which I use for meetings out of the office.
I've tried to download the Standard but are being redirected to the Pro, which is nice, I tried, but more expensive.
I don't want to purchase the pro when we already have a lisence for the Standard. Please, what do I do?

Please also see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1006208?tstart=0&promoid=KBHJQ which discusses how to download your purchased Adobe software.  If you have purchased a recent version of Acrobat Standard and choose the download option at the time of purchase then the software should be available under your account.
