I have a the CS5 creative print suite.

I'm seeing all these webinars about Indesign CS5.5. I have done all of the updates from Adobe's update site and i'm told I'm up to date for my Indesign.
I don't know if this Indesign 5.5 is a free upgrade or if I have to paid for this upgrade to 5.5. Secondly I watched a video about the content viewer and wondering how that works- Plus this new Overlay creator Panel for Indesign Cs5.5. Is this a free down load plugin? I found the overlay creator on the exchange and still having problems installing plug ins.
Also I'm having problems installing plugin for Indesign CS5. I go to the exchange forum and see all these plugins available for Indesign and when I click to install them. They down load and ask to choice the application which i select my Indesign plugin folder but the select button is grayed out. Help.

CS5.5 is NOT a free upgrade and there's no such thing as print suite.
I can only assume you mean one of the Design suites (Premium or Standard).
The DPS plugins are free downloads (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5131) but be aware that the DPS publishing system is anything but free.

I just downloaded the CS5 Creative Master Suit in the trail version, but in the dowload there was just english an japanese versions, so I downloaded it in the english vesion thinking there would be some way to add the spanish language... ¿can you tell me how can I do it?

Surely there must be a way for Apple to hear all of the people who live in a country and don't speak that country's language. Why isn't it possible to have at least an international version in English, both for the Apple Store & Itunes store?
We can understand the legal reasoning behind localizing stores and having some products available in one country and not another but Apple can't expect us to have credit cards in a specific country just for the purpose of enjoying Apple Store or Itunes store in English.
I currently live in China, my residential address is in Germany and I'm French... It annoys the **** out of me to have to confirm that I've read Apple's licensing agreement in German, which I hardly speak!

Currently I have been the recipient of a very bad experience regarding the manner in which Adobe is forcing me to spend more money on products without allowing me to upgrade accordingly --- or in having to speak to a FOREIGNER --- who cannot communicate properly .... please respond as soon as possible ... please.
My experience in trying to speak to someone with a 'Extremely Thick Accent' was very unpleasant and aggrivating ... and ended up 'going no where.'
I need to speak/communicate with someone who can help in using the product that I have paid a lot of money for.

You can download the software from http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html and can serialize it with the serial number you have.

You also mention that you are able to locate the serial number for Photoshop. Did that come as a part of the suite or did you purchase Photoshop as a standalone application?

Buy an external optical drive such as the Apple USB SuperDrive that is made specifically for that model.
Use the optical drive of your old MBP to clone the DVDs to USB flash drives, then install from the flash drives.
Connect both computers to your local network and then share the optical drive to install the software.

Will the CS5.5 Production Suite Run on Mavericks?

I've looked around the internet for this, and results are hard to find and not really clear. I need to know if the CS5.5 Production Suite will run on OS X 10.9. It's essential that a number of these are compatible, the ones I use the most often:
Illustrator CS 5.1
Photoshop CS 5.1
After Effects CS 5.5
Premiere CS 5.5
Audition CS 5.5
I've heard something that Photoshop can run if the user installs some previous version of Java, but I'm not sure how true that is. Anything else about the specific ones listed above? Anyone get the 5.5 versions to work under Mavericks?
I'm being forced to upgrade to 10.9 because I need to upgrade from Cubase 5 to 7.5- which unfortunately, is not compatible with Snow Leopard (10.6.8), which is what I'm currently running. If I can't run CS5.5, then I guess I'll be forced to spend another 400 bucks on an upgrade to CS6. I'm a student in college, so I can't readily afford that, and I can't afford to lose access to this software either.

If there was a definitive answer to this, you would have found it. Sorry, but you will just have to muddle through. The results are so unclear and even contradictory because everyone's upgrade path is different, they use different Macs and all that... You won't know if it works until you try.

There could be a 32 bit vs 64 bit issues-is the old machine a 32 bit? and what is the new machine as far as 32/64 bit. I am not sure now if CS5 has in the help menu of the PS app the selection to update within PS if so that might work. I know that the Creative cloud app for installs updates etc has caused me much consternation over the last couple few years. Last it could be something like your Software firewall settings or anti-virus anti malware programs. Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

You can install one single license of a Creative Cloud on upto 2 machines. CC is a platform independent product so you can use it on both Windows & Mac but make sure that you are not using it at the same time.

Try uninstalling.
Then run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool.

My name is Andrew and a couple of years ago I legally purchased a new Educational copy of Adobe Creative Suite SC5, with proof of my employment at a university.
I assumed the product would have all the serial numbers in the box.
I kept the product unopened till yesterday and found that I need to prove that I am currently employed at the university to obtain the serial numbers to install the software.
Unfortunately my job was made redundant at the university several months ago.
Hence I now have a legally purchased copy of Adobe software, but I am unable to use it because I am no longer employed at the university.
Adobe online help has informed me that they no longer provide phone or online help to CS5 users and have directed me to this forum.
I would be interested in any suggestions or advice in how I can resolve this.

It doesn't work when I try to do the double-side printing. And in the schedule info, it is Single-side --!!. Of course our printer support the double-side printing.So,any idea about this?
And I add the filter to transform the pdf to ps,is this the possible reason that the tray selection and double-side printing do not work?

To print on both sides (Duplex Mode), you have to
1.Have a Postscript ready printer.
2.Install Pasta
3.Install and Setup third party software like xpdf or Ghostscript to convert the PDF to PS file
4.Setup Printer Style and Pasta Config file
a.Define custom print style like 'Duplex PDF Publisher'
b. Assign this print style to Printer Type with with standard PASTA driver 'PASTA_PDF'
c.Then query printer driver 'PASTA_PDF' and on the arguments field, enter following -pn$PROFILES$.PRINTER -f$PROFILES$.FILENAME -c$PROFILES$.CONC_COPIES -Fpasta_pdf.cfg
d. Verify that the file $FND_TOP/resource/pasta_pdf.cfg is present and that it contains only one "uncommented" entry corresponding to the installed third party tool, as follows:
preprocess=pdftops -duplex {infile} {outfile}
pdf2ps (Ghostscript) by itself does not support the duplex option. You will need to use XPDF software (pdftops).

Is Dreamweaver CS6 included in the Student Creative Cloud Suite/Complete?

I am looking to purchase the student creative cloud complete to use Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign specifically. I didn't see a full list of what is included in the Student Creative Cloud Complete version and I just want to make sure it includes Dreamweaver and the above listed software because I need these specific ones to learn.
