I have a tungsten e2 that will not recognize the sd card. I have tried multiple cards and none work

I bought a older tungsten e2 for use in the field but it will not recognize the sd card! Any ideas? I have tried multiple cards and it will not recongize any so far!

I'd start by looking in system profiler.
the blue Apple icon > About this Mac > More info...
goto the hardware section. Scroll down and click on USB
See what happens when you have the device plugged in & not plugged in.
Move keyboard & mouse around to verify that ports work. Plug device in a port that worked with keyboar or mouse. Keyboard usb ports are rather low power.
Perhaps device is taking too much power. Are devices power or unpowered? Try connecting devices to a usb hub.

You're not using a supported carrier. What did you think Apple was going to tell you?
As fizzDripper suggests, contact the SIM card provider. How to make an unsupported SIM work on your phone is not Apple's problem.

HD Insginia that will not recognize the cable signal

I have an HD insignia TV that is hooked up to an HD cable box with an HDMI cable. When reboot he cablebox, it sees it and it fine. But as soon as I turn off the TV for a second, it does not recognize the cable when the TV is turned back on. It says "not compatible". Id I reboot, it is again fine but I cannot turn off the TV and turn it back on. DVD and VCR both work fine.

Unfortunately its a common problem. There is a problem with the HDCP Handshake between the tv and the cable box. (See Link) Basically what it means is that you tv doesn't see the box unless it was turned on first (the tv) and the cable box follows. There are a couple things you can try. First you can try updating you tv firmware, this is done through the manufacturer's website, with the aid of a usb thumbdrive. The other option is to see if your cable provider has a newer cable box available to you. More times than not cable companies recycle boxes for years.

Desktop manager for mac will not read the memory card

I have a Storm and the desktop manager does everything correctly except it will not recognize the media card for music. It says "please insert a media card in your device." Ive got the 8GB microSD card and it shows up in the phone memory but i cant load any music from my computer.

OK, I spent an hour and a half on the phone with RIM support this morning trying to fix this very thing with SUCCESS!!! Here is what you need to do. Keep in mind that this fix can only be done on a PC and NOT a Mac. Sucks, but its reality. Click on the link below and make sure that the PC your doing this on has the BB desktop manager installed on it. I went to my dads house and used his PC. After the tech and I learned that the DM has to be installed before you start the fix we were able to resolve the problem and the DM on the mac recognizes the media card. I'm also able to see the BB1 and BB2 icons on the desktop now so I can drag and drop if I want. I hope this helps you all. If you need additional help with this please ask. I may not be the most tech savy person here but I may be able to help a little. Here you go:

Follow the directions to the tee and it should work fine.
PS: If you have problems with your blackberry and you cant find the fix here or on CB call your carrier tech support. If they cant resolve they are pretty quick at getting RIM on the case and resolving without you getting charged for it. Verizon was helpful at that and when I spoke with BB tech support they were extremely helpful. I was very impressed.

Most likely the phone is locked to a carrier that you haven't tried yet.

Do you remeber the exact (or close to it) wording of the error message?

If the passcode will not unlock the screen you are entering the wrong passcode. To change or remove the passcode you can use the settings app.
Settings > General > Passcode Lock
The caveat here is that to make changes to the passcode lock you need to enter the correct passcode lock.
If you do not know your passcode you'll have to restore your iPad by connecting it to iTunes on your computer.

The first thing I would check is to make sure that the router is using the recommended settings to get online. Another troubleshooting step is to create a new Network Location and then join your network to see if that changes things.
