I have a Vcore problem on a Platinum series board. Help Please!
I have the 865 Neo 2 Platinum running a Mobile Celeron 2.2ghz. On my other Neo2 board I could change the vcore to 1.6. I go to Vcore now and all I get is symbols and strange writing. If I try to change it using CoreCenter my puter freezes. Does this mobo not support my mobile celeron like my cheaper Neo2 board did?
I flashed to the latest bios as well, no change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
By the way this is a Mobile Celeron based on the Northwood, it has 256 of L2 Cache.

where do you see those corrupted symbols? in the BIOS setup screen? or where? desktop board not supposed to support mobile chip. But then, those corrupted symbols does not seem to be the CPU not-supported issue. IF the CPU is not supported, you can't boot the system at all. My recommendation is to set the Vcore to AUTO and leave it, don't play around it as it may fry your processor.

also go to to settings>general>reset and reset network settings... if that doesnt work settings>general>reset and reset all settings!

JohnYou are getting this message because you are trying to create an iCloud account on a PC. You can only create iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.5) or higher. After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account using this ID on your PC.

Lightroom problem!!! Can someone help please???

Just bought a new computer 2 wks ago & installed Lightroom 3.0. I've used it only 3 times & when I went to open it to edit today I get the message "Opening Catalog:Img 2136_cr2.Ircat" then a window pops up saying that a problem caused the program to stop working. windows will close the program & notify you if a solution is availble." Can anyone help me with this. I'm new to LR . This is very discouraging ...maybe should just use PScs5 instead.

Thanks kimklFirst, I've not had any similar problems, which I know doesn't help you. But I think this isn't a chronic LR problem. Given that file name, I think you must have, at some point, exported a catalog (File / Export as Catalog on a PC). How that got set as your default catalog I'm not sure.
Anyway, try this:
Use your computer's search function to find the file in question. Delete it. Delete any other files in the same folder, EXCEPT for any image files, of course.
Now restart LR. It will come up with a message that says it can't find the catalog, and give you a choice of creating a new one, or selecting an existing one. If you really have only opened LR 3 times, and haven't done much editing, I'd suggest creating a new one. Otherwise, find the correct catalog file and choose it.
Where is the "correct" catalog? It should be in a folder named Lightroom, normally located in the folder where your images are.
Have you backed up your catalog when exiting LR? If so, you could follow the advice above, but choose one of the backup .lrcat files.
If worse comes to worse, find and delete ALL files that end in .lrcat and other files that are with them, then restart LR, and select the option to create a new catalog. Be sure to select the option, if it's presented, to always use that catalog when starting LR.

My ipad just won't let me sign in with my apple password on FaceTime or iMessage since updating to ios7 it says check my network connection, even though my iPhone works fine with the same password, can anybody help please, I have tried numerous things but nothing works. Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

I ran a regular software update as prompted by my iMac to get to 10.6.8, and now have "Bluetooth: Not Available" with squiggly line thru it. I've tried an SMC, updated software to 10.8.4...no availability of my Bluetooth to work the magic mouse, or any ability to access Bluetooth in System Preferences...help please?
You say you have "tried an SMC." Reset the SMC nd PRAM again.

MY IPHONE 4 which has been working perfectly well has developed a fault on calls.
It will make calls OK and they can hear me perfectly but I CANNOT HEAR THEM AT ALL.
I have checked all the settings and cannot see anything wrong, can anyone help please!!Thanks for answering me. I tried what the help page said but still no luck. My son jut told me that his phone (same as mine) did the same thing and then resolved a little while later. I guess I might just have to wait and see.

I have been to the Apple Store and been advised to upgrade my ipad2 with all since my purchase last year I need to go to Itunes on my computer, go to check, and click and all should upgrade. Not so easy, have had no success. Have reinstalled itunes, restarted my ipad and tried again.
Please helpWhy don't you take a different approach like take it off of automatic and restart it on your own and then see if you can update the iPad?

Signing into the iTunes account has never made content magically appear... it still amazes me that people think this will actually work.
Type "move itunes library" into the search bar or your favorite search engine. You'll find multiple results for how to move the iTunes library. -
It still has all his music, even though it is supposedly "deauthorized" and won't work with my iPod without erasing my information. Has anyone encountered this problem, and does anyone know how to fix it?
Yeah... that's how it works. Signing into iTunes does not magically make a library appear.
If you have an iTunes library (media purchased from iTunes) then YOU need to put it on the computer.
Also, since the computer is no longer authorized for his account, any media associated with his account will not be playable. -
I am using a HP Laptop NOT mobile device. Every time I try to go into my YAHOO bookmarks it asks me to sign in which I do to no avail. AT&T came to the conclusion it may be that Firefox and Yahoo are not working together. I just downloaded both the latest versions of Firefox and the yahoo toolbar again to no avail. Is there something with Firefox that is preventing me from getting into my yahoo bookmarks??
It's really up to you how often you want to clear history. If you have a large hard drive, Firefox may save history for a year or more...

Problem with macbook connecting to wireless: help please

i have a linksys WRT54G2 router connected straight from the ethernet port of a cable internet connection. it's been working fine for the past month or two for both me (using macbook 10.5.6), my flatmate (running vista pc) and my girlfriend also running a macbook.
but, the last few days i've been having problems getting connected. which are:
not connecting to wireless network automatically, and asking for password which is already remembered in keychain
getting connection timeout when trying to connect
getting invalid password, even though password is correct
websites taking around 2 mins to load when connection is eventually made
the internet is working fine on both my flatmates and girlfriends computers, but jut doesn't seem to like mine. heres what i've done already:
restored router to factory settings and updated with latest firmware
cleared all known wireless networks within network preferences
tried both firefox and safari
accessed router using IP address and loaded pages instantly
works fine connected to router with an ethernet cable
the only thing i havn't tried is a different wireless network, which i'm going to try tomorrow when i go into university.
has anyone any idea what the problem may be? like i said, its been working fine for the past 2 months but has just decided it doesn't like my macbook.
any help or suggestions would be great, thanks alotI had the same problem as you. It all started when all of a sudden my macbook wouldnt automatically join my home wifi that is usually does. I ignored this issue because it still worked, and this persisted for a few months. After a while, the situation got worse and after waking up from sleep, my wifi signal would go strong at first, then weaken until it kicks me off, and i no longer could reconnect as I would get a connection timeout error. I just went to the apple store and they replaced the airport card for free for me.
So basically your airport card is slowly dieing, replacement is inevitable.
