Thanks for the help. Now I can feel comfortable in not having to sign up for cellular when I buy, esp. Since I'll be using my new IPad mostly at home on my Cox wi fi. Then I can see, in using the i pad, how often I'd actually use the cellular, and where. This can help decide which type of cell plan I get. Small problem it may seem, but a very helpful answer. THe iTunes gift code is an optional field, you don't have to fill it in - gift cards are an alternative method of paying for iTunes content, but as they are not available inall countries (and they are country-specific, they can only be used in the country in which they were issued), you may not be able to fill it in anyway. If they are available in your country then you might be able to buy cards from Apple, supermarkets, electrical stores etc
If you have a credit card then you can use that as your payment method instead. Otherwise there are instrutions on this page for how to create a new account without giving a credit card number (it won't with existing, or partially created, accounts) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534

I bought an iTunes gift card to purchase certain things in my favorite app. Well when I try to buy things inside the game it does not give me the option to approve the purchase and it never shows up. I have reset the app, I have deleted the app and downloaded again, I have turned my ipod off and on, I have made sure all updates are up to date and nothing has changed. I saw a similar question like mine and the answer was that you have to have a credit card linked to your iTunes account to make in app purchases and I was thinking they were right until I talked to a few friends who cancelled their credit cards and took them off of the account and can still make in app purchases so that can't be the issues. Can someone please help me this is driving me crazy I have talked to iTunes support but they weren't much support.

I have Elements 10. I can start the application and I can activate the Editor. When I try to activate the Organizer I keep getting the messsage: "Elements10 Organizer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop. Please close the program".

It worked this morning. The only change done during the day is adding 250 photos to the Organizer

If it was working but now fails, it could be a problem with your catalog.
I would suggest you try repairing and optimizing it
Load the organizer
From the File menu, select Catalog - that should open the Catalog Manager.
Select you current catalog and click on the Repair button
When that has finished, click on the Optimize button
When that is done, click on the Cancel button to close the Catalog Manager.
If it crashes before you can get into the Catalog Manager, start the organizer while holding down the shift key - that should go straight into the Catalog Manger - resume at step 3 above.
If after repairing, you still get it crashing, then try the next test.
Start the organizer while holding down the shift key so that you enter the Catalog Manager.
Click on the New button (top right) and enter a new name (TestCat or something) and click on OK button.
That should create a new empty catalog. You can see if that says up for more than a minute. You could try importing a few images but I suggest that you don't do anything with them.
If that stays running then we know it is the catalog - otherwise it is the application.

Keep getting a popup 'you have chose to open search' doesn't happen in ie

problem started after enlarging a product picture, since then I keep getting a popup every couple of minutes: you have chosen to open search which is a: application/json from google.co.uk. Saving/opening it does not stop it, scanned it with AVG and search and destroy both returned negative results. Happens in both the most recent versions of Firefox but not in Internet explorer (which I don't want to go back to) The file is 78kb
The popup has subtly changed a few minutes ago and now states: Opening s you have chosen to open s, the rest has stayed the same

For me, it was FastestFox. The version I have is 4.7.4. Funny thing is it started out of nowhere. No recent updates of add-on or firefox itself.

HT1473 Had to "repair" Itunes today after error messages would not let me open. I can no longer sync my phone to computer without deleting all of the contect on my phone. I don't want to do that! I am trying to get the music from my Iphone to my Itunes li

Little background:
Went to open Itunes, error message told me I was missing files and I was unable to open. I deleted Itunes and re-downloaded and received same message. I then "repaired" Itunes from my "unistall/change" program menu. The error message then changed to being "unable to read my library of music." So I fixed that by following some other forum directions (Went to My Computer/Music/Itunes then dragged the most recent Itunes Library selection to my desktop, then opened the folder under music titled "Previous Itunes library" and moved that file into that folder. Thankfully that worked... sort of... I have some music in my library. None of the music from my super old Limewire library, or any recent music from my phone. All of which was in my library last night. Not to mention the HOURS of cd's I burned to Itunes over the entire weekend. Hundreds (at least) of songs are missing.
So I attempted to sync my phone and was told it would delete all of the files in my phone to replace with files from my computer. Which is NOT what I want to happen. Trying to get music FROM my phone to my computer.
Can someone please help me simply sync my phone to my computer? And then somehow get the music from my Limewire library to my Itunes library? I know I may not get the burned music back... But that sure would be amazing.
I am at a loss. Apple won't help unless I pay them... So hopefully this looks familiar to someone!

This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Here we go. I have all Ke$ha's albums but there's a problem. There's ONE song includes in TWO albums at the same time. I want to have a full albums but I don't want to have a several identical songs.

One of them is studio album "Warrior" with song "Die Young" BUT there's a EP "Deconstructed" with the same song. What can I do to make one song be included in two albums?

Are you trying to save money or space?
You can make a copy of a song and give it different properties.
You cannot make iTunes use the same audio data for two different tracks in two different albums.
