I have a Yamaha ARX1010 receiver , direct TV ,and apple TV. When I hook the apple tv up to the TV directly, i get music, movies, etc. But no sound. If I use the HDMI2 port on the back of the receiver I don't get anything.

All the storage in "Backups" is taken up by local snapshots, which are made automatically in all MacBooks, MacBooks Pro and MacBooks Air with OS X Lion or newer and Time Machine turned on.

Is it ok to have two address book, dashboard, chess and other apps icons when I launch the launchpad?

Im having a probles that when i use the launchpad there are two icons of some apps is that normal? and is it normal to have two folders of applications?

The foot pedal also seems to have an on/off switch that activates when it's depressed all the way. How do I set that up in Mainstage? Can I cycle between and effect and a volume pedal, for example?

I have a Yamaha DGX220 Piano Keyboard and I have downloaded their driver. After downloading and installing there is no interfacing with the computer, it doesn't recognize the Yamaha Midi driver.
Does anyone of you out there experience the same problem? I have downloaded the Mavericks OS.. The Yamaha company thinks there is a bug within Mavericks that causes this no connection issue.

Hello, Most likely if your Cable provider has gave it to you a Cable Box with 4K (wich is very expensive) you will receive a few channels in Ultra HD (4K resolution of 3,840 dots × 2,160 lines) other wise, you may try Internet Services apps with 4K resolution as Netflix. And the last option that you may have is using a BluRay Player watching movies mastered in 4K. For the SD card, are you copying the photos onto it yourself from your computer ? If you are then you need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it, and the photo filenames need to be exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension i.e. in a similar format as if a camera had created/written them.
In terms of syncing photos, what happens when you try ? You should be able to sync photos by connecting your iPad to your computer and selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side selecting the Photos tab - using that tab you should be able to select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

The pictures are taken with a coanon eos 550d in the color space sRGB. I have followed adobes recommendations and have tried both letting the printer respektive photoshop manage the colors. But nothing works. I see that there are different opinions about which is best to do so I tried both. I have the latest printer driver installed. Can anyone help me with this?

Do the following:
Print a test page from the printer. Perhaps the print head needs cleaning via its maintenance facility.
Let the printer manage colors, not PSE
Calibrate the monitor

This is extraordinary. I have moved the router and also tried resetting it to its factory strings. We have had this router for over a year and all our devices have always worked. Now all four laptops will not connect to the internet. Only one oMac and our phones and iPad.
I have had far more devices running at once before but now all laptops are timing out on connection. Some say this iIP address is already being used but if I manually set to a slightly different IP address it does not help, noir if I manually set to the correct IP address. Why would all our laptops (four) suddenly be unable to connect?

That happened to me for a short period of time after I updated. It didn't do it with all apps, but it did it with a few here and there. Try a few basic standard troubleshooting steps. Close all apps and reset the iPad.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
You can also try resetting all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.
Hopefully it will be something simple, but don't rule out restoring the iOS software, if nothing else works, but start with this easy stuff first.
