I have added a work colleague to my family's members on iCloud so we can share the calendar for work appointments. However whe heakes purchases on iTunes I now get charged. How can I stop this happening?

ive added my work coleague to my iCloud account so we can share the calendar on our I-phones for work appointments. when he makes a purchase on iTunes i now get charged though so how do I stop this from happening? also can I just share only work appointments or do i have to share the whole calendar with him? Can I select what he sees?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
When you are the Family Sharing organizer, purchases are billed to your account unless the family member making purchases has an iTunes Gift Card or iTunes credit on their account. The attached article has more information on how this process works.

What I may suggest in your situation would be to discontinue the Family Sharing and use iCloud calendar sharing. Using this method keeps your accounts separate but allows you to still share your calendar.

hello, yes that's the deafult option of the script - you can also change the page that will be shown at logout manually. go to firefox/tools > addons > user scripts & click "options" next to the "no msn..." script, then select "edit this user script". the first time greasemonkey will ask you to specify an editor - the easiest way is to navigate to C:\Windows\ & select notepad.exe. instead of www.hotmail.com you can then specify any custom page and save the file afterwards...

Use your PC to sign-on to your mail service using the browser interface they provide. Delete all the e-mails you don't want on the server. That will prevent the iPad from downloading them.

Delete the Gmail SMTP server, then pick the correct SMTP server for the account that you are using.
Mail>Preferences>Accounts>Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): expand the dropdown next to the label and delete the incorrect server, then pick the correct server and check the box that says "Use Only This Server"

1. If by flurry of emails you mean they all appear opened as if clicked on.
2. Or do you mean your inbox fills up with a whole lot of 'new' unread emails downloaded from the server, so that if you delete them they return next time you open Mail.
If it is 1. Press (three keys) Option + Command + W
This will close all mail windows including the inbox.
Then press (two keys) Command + 1
to return the inbox.
That should stop any flurry next time you open Mail
If 2., Open Mail Preferences > Accounts (select the account in question if there is more than one), click on Advanced, and where it says remove copy from server after retrieving message, select that choice and click Remove now.

Ordinary webspace won't do - what you get is a text file: this is the problem - MobileMe took the file published by iCal and formatted it as a calendar. Presumably if you were running your own server as indicated in the help page it would do the same; but unless 1&1 can speficially provide you with a CalDAV server it's not going to work.
Do your colleagues have Macs? For those who do, they can subscribed to a shared calendar in iCal and it couldn't be simpler. Presumably Windows owners could do the same thing in a suitable calendar program; and this is a lot simpler solution.

You can sync those different playlists to the iPod, and the song appears on each playlist. However, the song is stored on the iPod once. What is the practical reason for wanting to store the same song file multiple times (and waste storage space) on the iPod?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Its only partly to do with iCloud and you don't need to have separate iCloud accounts to avoid this happening.
You receive messages according to the settings at settings > messages > receive at. By default this will use your phone number (on a phone) and your email address.
There are other reasons though that you may wish to have separate iCloud accounts.

This is in the 'publish' section as an alternative to the now defunct MobileMe: you have to find your own server. They rather expect you to be running a CalDAV server yourself - something I rather doubt you are either doing or want to do. You may be able to find a third-party server which can do this, but they are pretty rare: an ordinary web hosting service won't do it.
If you join iCloud you can share your calendars using that, either privately or publicly, though not as an ordinary web page; a CalDAV client such as iCal is required.

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for pic problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

When I insert my logo into a title, the colour changes. How do I stop this happening?

I have an EPS file of my logo. It is one solid colour, Upsdell Red. When I open it in Photoshop, the colour is correct. When I open it in Preview, the colour is correct. However, when I put it in Premiere Pro, it suddenly becomes a bright blood red? How can I fix this?!

Instead of dropping it into a title just drop it on the timeline.
