I have adobe acrobat pro free trial
I am trying to transfer data from pdf to excel, it is a large file of 357 pages. It is too large for the acrobat to save. Is this because it is a trial and/or would I have same problem if I purchase program. Thank you
I spoke with Acrobat helpdesk and they said that I can't format from PDT
to excel as the document reads because of the way the report was created.
I was disappointed with the answer.

I have a Mac Book Air, latest update of OSX system 10.7.5. I successfully downloaded a free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro. I've successfully installed it. But when a pop up window asks to me to accept the license agreement, nothing happens even though I've pressed the button numerous times. I've called Apple and they said this is an Adobe problem. Adobe will only help me M-F. As this is Saturday I was hoping someone might have an idea.
This is a known issue with Acrobat XI
Problem: Mac OS only. On launch, a blank EULA screen appears, which cannot be accepted, and Acrobat does not run. This problem can appear if you have any products installed from CCM or from Creative Suite, and you tried installing Acrobat XI from a different source.
Workaround: Launch any other product which is part of the CCM or Creative suite. Then, deactivate it by choosing Help > Deactivate. Quit the application. Then, launch Acrobat and accept the EULA. Then, for the CCM subscription product, launch it and select License This Software to enable the CCM product again.If a CS application, launch it and reactivate it.

Or you can try this :
Go to Applications->Utilities->Adobe Installers -> Adobe Acrobat X -> remove Acrobat X using the Uninstaller app.
Relaunch Acrobat XI and try to accept EULA. -

It would be helpful to know what version of Acrobat, WORD, and operating system.
Without that info, I would suggest at this point to open your WORD file and then go to the print menu and print to file using the Adobe PDF printer. Open the created file in Distiller and see if you get a PDF. If so, check to see if AcroTray is running in the background.
You say you tried many ways. It would help to know what you tried and what worked or did not work, and at what point the failure occurs. -

To install/update Adobe Reader or Acrobat you need to supply your computer's Administrator password. -

We always like to know what solutions work. The other options that would cause problems include:
1. the file is either secured or a PDF/A
2. you need to update Acrobat (Help>Updates) -
I was able to open a pdf document but was unable to save to my computer. I have adobe acrobat pro xi. the message i received was. "the document could not be saved. there was a problem reading the document (8)."
I was able to convert it to a Word document and then save, but I should not have to do that.Did you try a Save As? What OS? Have you updated Acrobat?
Another alternative is to print to a new PDF. That is probably a better work flow than going to WORD and back. -

Purchased subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro says trial expired
I have a purchased subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro; however, it says that it is a trial and it is expired. I called into support and they said it was because I had multiple subscriptions under my account but there was a manual fix I could make to fix it. I was told they were going to send me the steps to resolve but I have never received them and I cannot use Adobe at all now. How can I get this fixed?

I'd like to upgrade from Adobe Acrobat Pro v. 9 to Acrobat Pro v. 11. via uninstalling v. 9.0 and installing v. 11. The reason is that I'm having problems opening PDF files on my PC.
Acrobat XI Pro does not work as well as previous versions. For example, using "Combine Files into PDF" function, Acrobat will not work if one or more of your WORD docs has a text layer (such as in a WORD template to produce a letterhead). The text layer will not print to PDF, although this function works fine in previous versions. It will convert your WORD docs to PDF, but if any WORD doc has a text layer, it will not be converted. It will show up as a blank space. I have a letterhead text layer that has my work credentials. It does not show up on the converted PDF, using the bundle (Combine Files into PDF) function. Tech Supports workaround for this is to first create a PDF from the WORD page that has a text layer by first clicking on Acrobat, at the top of the monitor page, then clicking on Create PDF. Save the PDF, which will have the printed text layer. Then go to Combine Files into PDF and include that already created PDF page in the bundle. That will work, but it's another step you have to go through to create your bundle, i.e., your work flow is interrupted by having to accomplish the workaround (documented in Adobe Case No. 0185444461). Acrobat Pro 9 extended did not need this workaround - nor did previous versions. Tech Supports comment was that Adobe changed a lot of things - in this case, not for the good.
