I have Adobe CS 5 and cant seem to get the computer to take the disc...I put them in and nothing happens. can you help me?

deactivate (help>deactivate) on your old hd.
then install using the installation file(s) and your serial number.

I have Adobe Photoshop CS2 and it closes down every time I open it with the following error: "Photoshop Quit Unexpectedly". Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this?

The first question is have you used this version on this computer with the operating system you have now. The issue might be (if you are on a Mac) that CS2 was a Power PC application and you have upgraded to a new computer with an Intel processor. CS2 will not work on an Intel processor with system (I think) OSX.6 or greater.
If you have used this release on this computer with the same OS, than try deleting the preferences by holding down the Comand/Control-Option-Shift keys when starting the application. You will get a message asking if you want to delete the preferences, say yes.
Let me know if any of these work.

Adobe Acrobat 8 with the Original DVD.
Adobe Reader X1 downloaded off Adobes site.
Both versions of adobe close after 10 seconds or so once I open a PDF file. I started having this problem about 2 weeks ago. Everything else if fine with the computer
I have run various virus scans. Haven’t found any issue.

Generally, it's ok to install on two machines as long as they are both yours and you only use one version at a time.

HT204347 I need to find out what is wrong with my Macbook Pro. I have Adobe Reader installed on it and Adobe Flashplayer installed on it. I am not able to do anything with either of these programs, no videos, printing certificates, etc.

I have adobe reader installed on my Macbook Pro and also Adobe flashplayer installed. I am not anble to see any video from the net, news feeds, or anything like that on my computer. I cannot print off certificates that I need all it does when I attempt to print the certificate is that it shows that it is loading and comes back and tells me there was an error in loading the information. How do I select two-sided printing now that I have Adobe Reader? I didn't know it would change my print function at all and am curious why it does. My HP printer always did this and on the old screen there was a check off box for two-sided printing. Thank you!

Some time ago, one crashed my computer and I had to reinstall the operating system and all applications.
After I had installed once Acrobat 9 Sdt in the computer, I wanted to update the software version 9.0.0 update to the same level as it was before the crash and that the other computer has version named 9.5.5.
The system for update from version 9.0.0 does not work at all. "There are no updates" listed in the dialog.
Can you advise how I get my Adobo Acrobat 9 Standard (Version 9.0.0) could be updated to the same level as the computer had before the crash.
