I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 and am trying to upgrade to 13 - getting error message that "file archive part" of Adobe 13 is missing. When I try to download installers for older products it only goes back to v7, not v5 what to do next?

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

When attempting to play songs on itunes, getting error message that file cannot be found and asked if i want to locate it. not sure where it went. do have new computer and all files were transferred to new machine.

I just tried to play some songs that i have in itunes and i get an error message that says file can't be located. It appears to be on about half the songs of the thousands I have in there. I do have a new computer and transferred the itunes library about a month ago. I have successfully managed ipod on new computer. I wonder if it is a licensing issue but this is just the second computer althought the third hard drive these songs have been on. It is affecting songs loaded from CD's and purchased from itunes on the old computer alike.

When tracks in iTunes display a it means the file cannot be located; it may have been moved or deleted. You'll have to locate the file manually if it is still available. For more information refer to the following article:

Apologies for your incovinience.
Requesting you to please go to https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us. When you click on download button (after selecting your OS details), it should open a new browser window (which will launch the Akamai installer automatically). Please cancel any installation or error shown.
The newly opened browser page will look something like this:
As highlighted, please click on these links (one by one) and see if it downloads the required files. The downloaded files will be compressed with 7z format. If you have some extracting tool (like WinZip) try extracting it. If you don't have it, download 7z. Its a free utility from Microsoft. Once downloaded and installed, you will be able to extract file and locate the PSE setup.

I've reinstalled twice but getting the same error. Whereas the 32 bit application works fine. Any help?

you probably have an incomplete/corrupt download.
to confirm check the file size against the expected file size.
then re-download perhaps with a different browser.

There is only one file to download - which one depends on your system (32-bit or 64-bit).
These are the trial versions but will convert to the full version when you supply your serial number.
