I have an active AppleID that has typo in name so Email can not be verified???? Help

I changed the Primary email for an appleid. There was a typo in the email address. this makes the appleid waiting for verification. I spent five and a half hours with support before they understood the problem. Once we both were talking about the same thing, we successfully reset the password and I was able to apply updates/upgrades to Apps. I followed supports instructions which is not how I normally update my second appleid apps. Their instructions caused the active support chat session to be terminated and no log was produced. This being my first time with chat support I did not know how to reestablish the connection. I applied all the pending updates to apps. Once that was compile I performed maintenance to the apple and corrected the primary email address. I DID NOT KNOW THAT ALSO CHANGES THE APPLEID. it set status back to waiting for verification. I'm locked out again. Before I spend more time with support, I need to ask other users if they know how to fix this. I think I know a way from everything we did that day, but would like some users to also say how it can be done. The reason it took so long before was support did not believe what I reported as error messages and generated email text. If you have found a way to do this Please    reply.   . I will then have information so hopefully support will listen to me and not take more than a short time to resolve. If no one knows a way to fix this, I will try to identify all apps affected and backup data, delete app and rebuy with my working appleid. Yes I now know the importance and mess created when appleid primary email is change. Thank you in advance.      .

    You'll likely need the assistance of some sort of 3rd party software.  Keep in mind that the photos on your iPod are only scaled down thumbnail versions of the originals.  So even if you do manage to copy them backt to your PC, they will not be in their full original resolution.
    Do a simple Google search for "copy photos from ipod" and you should get a number of hits that can assist you.

    If I understand correctly,  the partition will still be on the disk and therefore mounted on the desktop. You would need to remove that partition to remove the icon.
    Be careful if you try this, don't upset the main Macintosh HD partition or you may lose the OS and your files.
    And always have a full tested backup of your system before modifing disk partitions.

    Sounds like you've already installed iTunes 11 and are now trying to downgrade. To do so successfully you will also need access to a pre-upgrade copy of your library as set out below...
    The main differences between iTunes 11 and earlier versions are the loss of coverflow and ability to have multiple windows open.
    In Windows, you can restore much of the look & feel of iTunes 10.7 with these shortcuts:
    ALT to temporarily display the menu bar
    CTRL+B to show or hide the menu bar
    CTRL+S to show or hide the sidebar
    CTRL+/ to show or hide the status bar (won't hide for me on Win XP)
    Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour
    Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may let iTunes start up more quickly)
    If you don't like having different coloured background & text in the Album (Grid) view use Edit > Preferences > General and untick Use custom colours for open albums, movies, etc.
    With iTunes 11.0.3 you can enable artwork in the Songs & List views from View > Show View Options (CTRL+J) making it more like the old Album List view.
    If you still feel the need to roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the 32 bit installer or 64 bit installer as appropriate, uninstall iTunes and supporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
    See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

    If you don't want to delete everything then disconnect it and use the computer that you previously synced with.

    The receiver has two HDMI  inputs in the back.  However they say they are not for PC's.  Furthermore they must be set up by going to the home menu.    I tried everything, but I can not get the receiver to talk to the Apple TV. I even tried a connector that uses an HDMI to the Apple TV that has the other side of the cable as 5 RCA cables.  I could not get the receiver to see the Apple TV.   I have a newer TV in the house, it has no problem talking with the Apple TV.  But this older system seems to be handicapped in its ability to talk with the newer Apple TV system.

    I could not access the Apple TV on the television.   If I put the Apple TV directly into by TV, I have an external sound system (entertainment system), therefore I worry that I would by pass the audio.

    Also, if it is possible to transfer the hardrive, would my iTunes music transfer as well?  It is not saved in the cloud.

    You computer is probably perfectly repairable, but if you want a new one anyway, it is perfectly possible to transfer the data from the faulty one.
    But it would be a mistake to simply put the old HD in the new computer.
    These are the steps:
    Remove Hard drive from faulty computer. (very easy on Unibody MBPs, do-able but not so easy on older MBPs)
    Put it in a cheap enclosure
    Connect it the new computer
    Boot up new computer.
    If the new computer has never been run before the Setup Assistant will ask if you want to import your apps, data, settings etc from either another mac, another HD connected to the Mac or a Time Machine back up.
    Obviously chose the second option (another HD connected to this Mac) and follow prompts.
    If the new computer has already been run (so Setup Assistant doesn't run when you boot it up), you will need to use Migration Assistant...or run the installer again so that Setup Assistant runs again.

    Windows can not identify that an iOS device is in recovery mode. Only iTunes can identify that.

    Expanding on what Niel said, once you redeem a gift card, the amount of the card is registered in your iTunes Store account and the card can be trashed. All you need do now is log into your iTunes Store account, the one you redeemed the card through, and make purchases. The cost will be deducted from your credit balance automatically.
    A couple of caveats/warnings:
    - you can buy anything in the iTunes Store with the balance other than a gift for someone else;
    - if you don't have a credit card also registered to your account, keep careful watch on your balance so you don't overspend it. If you do, the purchase will go through but you won't be able to download anything else, even free content or items you already purchased, until you add another gift card or a credit card to cover the amount you owe.
