You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com

  • I have a new computer, many of my old tunes and videos were attached to e-mail that no longer exists..can't access them anymore, what can i do?

I recently bought a new computer, when i set up itunes I found that I no longer had access to many of my tunes and videos as they were for an e-mail account which I no longer have or know the password to...is there a solution to restoring access to itmes that I previsouly purchased under a dead account?

iTunes purchases are permanently tied to the ID they were purchased with.
Contact iTunes Customer Support if you have forgotten the password to that account and they can assist you.

You can change the linked email/sign in email for your iCloud and Apple ID accounts from 1 site,
    https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
Go to Manage your Apple ID
Sign in with your current creditals
On the left, click Name, ID and Email Addresses
Under Apple ID and Primary Email Address, click Edit
    Type in your new Email.
Go to Apple ID, click Edit
    Type in your new Email

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.

  • ICloud is asking me for my old Apple ID which is with an email that no longer exists. How do I change it to my new Apple ID?

iCloud is asking me for my old Apple ID which is with an email that no longer exists. How do I change it to my new Apple ID?

If you renamed your iCloud ID and need to change it on your device, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID.  This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account.  To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.

  • My iPhone 5S prompts me for my password to an Apple ID email that no longer exists as an account.  How do I change my Apple ID address without having to change the primary address to a non-existent email account?

I cannot sign into icloud on my phone because the Apple ID is an email account that has been deactivated and deleted.  How can I change my Apple ID without having to change the primary email address to this non-existent account? If I did so, I wouldn't be able to access the account to receive the verification email. Please help!

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted.  If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You should not need to verify the old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • How can I change my Apple ID/Cloud account that has an email that no longer exists?, How can I change my Apple ID/Cloud account that has an email that no longer exists?

So I got a new email address, and afterwards I set up my new Apple ID for my iPad and Macbook. However, on my iPhone 4s, the account still is tied to the old email and I cannot verify my account of switch it over because it will not log into my old Apple ID. I do not want to delete the cloud account on my iphone because it warns that a lot of info will be deleted. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  (You will get an option to keep the data on your device when you delete the account.)
You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. • How to get passed Apple Activation Lock with an Apple ID and email that no longer exists

I recently got my mother's IPhone second hand. She had her Apple ID, and Find my Iphone feature registered under her old work email address, neither of these no longer exist, and so I am stuck and can't unlock the phone. Any Advice?

It does not matter that the email no longer exists. Ask your mom for her Apple ID password. (The Apple ID will be the same as the old email.) If she does not remember it she will need to reset the password here:

  • Virtual Machine disks are attached to a machine that no longer exists

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/WAVirtualMachinesforWindows/thread/2695008b-59e7-478b-8169-8ceb9b0d848d
    Continuation of the above issue..
I've deleted a machine via power shell but the disks are still associated with the old machine.  I also see a disk there that belongs to a machine that was deleted a couple of weeks ago through the management console.  Is there any way to resolve
    the associations?
I'd like to delete the one disk that belongs to the older server but I need to retain a couple of disks that pertain to the server mentioned in the above referenced thread where I was trying to resolve an unknown state by deleting and recreating the machine
    through power shell.

I found the command to use to remove these disks using the Windows Azure Powershell cmdlets:
    Remove-AzureDisk -DiskName <string> -DeleteVHD
    Output:
    OperationDescription       OperationId                OperationStatus
    Remove-AzureDisk           xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx... Succeeded
It took a bit of fiddling around with management certificates to get the Get-AzureDisk cmdlet working, but once that is done this removed both the disks from the portal, and the associated VHD files from blob storage.
Here are the steps I used:
     C:\PS>$subID = <Subscription ID>
     C:\PS>$thumbprint = <Certificate Thumbprint>
     C:\PS>$myCert = Get-Item cert:\\CurrentUser\My\$thumbprint
     C:\PS>Set-AzureSubscription -SubscriptionName "MySub" -SubscriptionId $subID -Certificate $myCert
Then Get-AzureDisk works and you can proceed with removing the disk(s).

  • My HP office jet 6500 printer is stuck on pause. I do not have an admin name or password as it is a wireless printer and I never had to set one up.  It keeps asking me for admin name and password...

My HP office jet 6500 printer is stuck on pause.  I do not have an admin name or password that it keeps prompting me to give, as it is a wireless printer and that info was not required when we set up the printer.  I have checked all diagnostics and connections and they are all good/passed.  I am so frustrated!!!    This has never happened in the past.

What is asking you for an admin name and password? What does the dialog say, exactly?
What model iMac are you using, and which OS version?
If it is earlier than Lion or Snow Leopard, try deleting the printer and adding it again as explained in this document
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3140
Otherwise you can "reset the printing system" as explained here
