I have just purchased an ipod classic 160GB and decided to sync my itunes music and videos that I purchased via itunes. All the music sunk but it didnt sync my videos. My mistake, it was nothing to do with format. It woldn't sync because my movies were HD. HD movies won't sync to an iopd classic 160 GB but when you purchase a HD movie, itunes gives you a SD vervsion of the movie which is compatible with the ipod. Just needed to go to store, click movies, click purchased and untick the HD box and there you have the SD versions. Download the SD versions and then sync your ipod and bobs you uncle, movies are on the ipod

I have a song that I purchased from Itunes on my Iphone and there was an error downloading. Every time i try to download it times out and says to try again. I have tried several times and still get same message. Help? I have been charged for this song but have not been able to download.

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer. -
When I go into itunes to sync my computer with my iphone I keep getting message that I must download itunes 10.5, so how come I keep downloading it, but it keeps giving me this message and I can't sync?
What version of iTunes are you currently running? To check, in iTunes go "Help > About iTunes" and wait for the version number to scroll up from the bottom of the screen. For example, I see:

when i tried to dowmload ios 7.0.4 the computer startes the download. it begins counting up hours until the download is finished, when it hits about 130 hours, an error message pops up and tells me that something has gone wrong, network error, etc and says to try again later. im frustrated bc a download shouldnt take that long. i dont know what do do and could use some help.
Temporarily disable any security software on the computer and try again.

I have created a website using iWeb. It has been running fine, with no problems at all.
I have recently made some changes and the updates don't show in Safari, but when I open Firefox, the changes are there. It doesn't show the updates in Chrome on my iphone either? Any suggestions?You can also reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

My MacBook Pro HD crashed. It is all up and runmning except for one issue. I have about 200 songs on my iPhone but have only gotton 53 back on my laptop from my iPhone and those are the songs I purchased via iTunes. How do I get the rest of the songs from my iPhone back onto my HD.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

for itunes 11: movie that are not purchased via itunes are now loaded into and catagorized as "home videos". I want all of my movies in one spot under Movies as they always were. How can i tweak/resolve this?

i have missing songs that i purchased on my old iphone. they are not in my purchased folder. but in itunes store when i look the song up, it has the purchased logo next to it.... but no way to download it
If the songs are still on your ipod, make sure autosync is disabled in iTunes on your computer, connect and right click on it in the device list, then choose "transfer purchases" to copy all bought media and apps from your ipod to your computer.
If the songs are not on your computer and got deleted from your ipod as well, you can't get them back, unless you have a backup of your iTunes library as part of your computer backup. -
How do you delete songs that you purchased through iTunes but don't show up when you connect the iphone to iTunes? They don't show up in the music section when you click on "On this phone". Side Note: I have my phone setup to manually manage music. Please help.

If you want to delete a song from your iOS device on iOS 7, tap Songs, swipe the song from right to left, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

You can't install 9.2.1 or earlier on any Mac that is only Mac OS X bootable. In fact you need to use the restore disks which came with those Macs to install 9.2.2 on those Macs. 8.6 is only possible to install on Macs which came with 8.6 or earlier. The 9.1 disk may be useful for your 1999 PowerMac G4, but won't be of any use for a 2006 Powerbook G4.
