Does anyone knows how a device in "spad" transaction functions (in Unix)
Under Access method"L:Print Locally Using LP/LPR") I have an Command set ID with value "A" .
Under mentioned "command set" I have :
"command to transfer data " set to " /usr/bin/cat &F >/usr/sap/planning/REMINDER&N.txt". What does that means.
Does it mean any printout is copied to "/usr/sap/planning/REMINDER&N.txt" file? Also corrupted (not finished...) ones?
what is the name of file under "/usr/bin/cat ". Is it always the same? is it copied in same format (what
"&F >/" means?)?

Hai,
Command set id option in SAP helps to override the DEFAULT SAP parameter for the command that a print program should use to have a host spooler perform an output request.
Default parameter is rspo/host_spool/print.
You can specifically give a command to your printer through this option, COMMAND SET ID.
Here " /usr/bin/cat &F >/usr/sap/planning/REMINDER&N.txt" is the command which helps thr spooler to direct your output.
/usr/bin -- is the directory under which it has all the commands for UNIX.
/usr/bin/cat -- where 'cat' is a command, cat command reads one or more files and prints them to standard output. The operator > can be used to combine multiple files into one.
&F Name of the file to be printed (with path specification).
/usr/sap/planning/REMINDER&N.txt -- is where you can find your output.
You can even use /usr/bin/cp instead of usr/bin/cat here the former command copies to another file after the &F option.
You can use any type of commands, please check the below link.
Also you can use this command set option for Null printers were you dont need the printouts but only the spool. Here you can set the command as 'cp &F /dev/null' were the output is redireted to /dev/null path at the OS level.

If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar on it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - when connected (and if your computer's iTunes is up-to-date) your iPad should then appear on that sidebar under a 'Devices' heading :
If you select the iPad on that sidebar you can then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync that film to your iPad's Videos app.

Command Sets not working on ACS 5.1

I'm running ACS 5-1-0-44-3.
I have everything running properly on ACS 5.1. I'd like to implement command sets for selected users and groups. Under Access Policies -> Device Admin-> Authorization I have Command Sets selected. The cisco provided is DenyAllCommands. I have this command set running on all groups and every groups is still able to issue any command they wish. I've also created a "show_only" command set that I've issued one group and they are still able to do conf t or any other command.
Am I missing something?
Do you need to reference the command set name under the shell profiles?
Its my understanding that all you have to do is reference it in "Authorization" in the rules under Device Admin.
I can understand a custom command set not working because of user error but DenyAllCommands should work.
Anyone have any ideas?

I've been working out a way to remix live with logic, and only two things stand in my way. Every time I make a key command on my controller for a mute button, I always have to push the button twice to go from "mute" to "unmute" and vice versa. I can get it to work properly if I put in the command twice, but is there a way to only put in the command once and have it work properly?
My second problem: I need separate key command sets for my MIDI controller in each song I do, but every time I make a new one, the commands continue into the next song, so basically it reads the key commands for the whole application instead of one song. Is here a way to create key command sets only for each song instead of a universal set?

I'm hopeful that someone out there has enough understanding with numbers to help me figure out how to program this function.
I'm trying to create a spreadsheet that will allow me to track payments that have been reimbursed for a given service provided in a medical clinic. As the payout from the insurance companies is not only variable with time before reimbursement, but also with the actual amount that the each reimburses for a given procedure - I'm trying to create a system to track this all.
So, here's what I've got so far:
On one sheet, I've created a one column - in which I've created a pop-up menu selection using three of the insurance companies that we bill out to regularly (let's call it Column I - cell I2). On "another" sheet, I've created a list of values comprised of what the actual reimbursement from each of the three companies is for the particular service provided, in dollar amounts.
What I'm trying to do, is set it up so that when I select say "First Choice" from the pop-up menu (cell "I2), the dollar value from the "other" sheet appears in the column following that of the pop-up menu column (column I), with this new value now in (Column J) - cell J2. I had then planned on being able to create a row at the bottom of the entire sheet that could then "SUM" the values represented by the newly created J2 cell.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

BC4J,Setting a default Value In a View With Data From An Other View

I'm developping A BC4J. I want to set the default value of a field By counting the number of rows in an other view.
So I want to instanciate the view and execute the sql statement and get the result.
Is that the right manner to do it or not.

There's lots of ways to skin this cat depending upon whether you mean "database view" or "view object" when you say "view", and individual requirements.
Given database views v1 and v2 with a common key between them
select v1.x, count(*) from v1,v2 where v1.key = v2.key group by v1.x;
either in the database view or in expert mode for the view object ( I think it'll take group by, but never done it ). ( assumption is that v1.x is a primary key for v1 )...
Try this from sql*Plus first to get a feel for how this works.
The catch with the above is that it is "static"... if you can ADD rows to v2 in your application... they aren't visible in the count until saved and requeried.
Another way ( I think... hopefully Oracle folk will kibitz... )
Create your own attribute on the view object like "TheOtherCount".
In the view object's RowImpl, find the "getTheOtherCount". Find the count of rows in the second view object or entity object or rowSetInfo through the method of your choice. ( If you've already set up a master detail relationship that is active you can just get the rowcount! ). Refer to earlier postings on how to get the rowcount, or to create a dynamic view query to get the count.
The nice thing is that this should reflect your counts even if the second view has added or removed rows... but will probably move like a snail.
Note that if you have a need where you want the row count updated in a frame for v1 whenever v2 is added to or removed from... well... then you need to set up some sort of event listener to do a redisplay of v1's frame, I'd think? Since the attribute you've created in the view object is not based on an entity object attribute, it has no way to know when it has been "updated" via an additional or removed row from the target.
I'm posting the above because no one has responded yet... it may form a place to start from. And maybe someone in the know will go "No, No, No... KKirk... it doesn't work that way at all!" and fill us in on how this can be accomplished!

this should work in JDeveloper 11.1.1.3 the same as in 11.1.1.2. If it doesn't then it is better to file a bug than to work around it

DropdownByKey inside ALV Table - Problem with Value set

I have Component A which has a custom controller that uses the interface controller of the ALV Component.
Custom controller has node ITAB.. that has certain attributes...
I want DropdownByKey inside the ALV Table column. I am populating the corresponding attribute of ITAB node with the value set that I want the drop down to have.
However when I execute the application..I get error
" Key XXX not present in Value Set and is not initial"
XXX is present in the Value Set table of the attribute.
Following is my code in the methods of CUSTOM CONTROLLER
Generate Value Set
nodeinfo_context = wd_context->get_node_info( ).
nodeinfo_ITAB= nodeinfo_context->get_child_node( wd_this->wdctx_ITAB ).
 Populate the Value Set
data ls_valueset type wdy_key_value.
data it_valueset type wdy_key_value_table.
ls_valueset-key = 'FRA'.
ls_valueset-value = 'FRANCE'.
Append ls_valueset to it_valueset.
ls_valueset-key = 'SFO'.

SO the Value Set is getting set for attribute ATTR1, but still I get Error

You have forgotten to set a cell variant. I had the same with setting a ProgressIndicator cell-editor to a table column as default editor. This causes the column to be hidden on the table while it did show up in the settings dialog. I removed the set_editor( lr_progressindicator) and created a cell variant instead with this lr_progressindicator. You then need to add this cell variant to your column. By default it will select the standard viewtext-cell-editor (which can only be textview and inputfield, like when you create a table yourself in a view), but if you use a cell variant, it will display the required cell editor if you set it (last line of the code).
In your case, replace lr_progressindicator by your ref_dropdownkey.

I have created a shell profile in Policy Elements -> Authorization and Permissions -> Device Administration -> Shell Profiles which has a assigned privilege level of 15 and a max privilege level of 15. Further to this I have added a new commands set via Policy Elements -> Authorization and Permissions -> Device Administration -> commands sets.
I have referenced the shell profile via Access Policies -> Access Services -> Default Device Admin -> Authorization. And this part of it seems to work fine, but the command set I am using to restrict the commands allowed is not being used...do I need to reference the command set somewhere else within the ACS platform as well? The configuration I have added on to the Network Device is as follows: -
aaa new-model
aaa authentication login default group tacacs+
aaa authentication enable default group tacacs+
aaa authorization config-commands
aaa authorization exec default group tacacs+ local
aaa authorization commands 15 default group tacacs+ none

How to validate if a column have NULL value, dont show a row with MDX

I have an iPhone 4S and the latest Apple TV, both setup with my email address as the Apple ID. I subscribed to iTunes Match so our music could be played from iCloud. I gave my wife an iPad 3 and set it up using her email address as the Apple ID. When I try to turn on iMatch so she can play our music from iCloud on her new iPad it tells me that she needs a subscription to iTunes Match. Is it Apple's intent that we would need two iTunes Match subscriptions? If not, how do I accomplish what I want to get done?

The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.
