Flash is never coming to ios.
Adobe has discontinued mobile flash for all devices.
Take a look at bluefire reader.
Wow, are you serious?
That really ***, I have been playing with mine and can't believe I can't use 3/4 of the sites I like on it.
My Android tab runs Flash just fine, and has done so for 2 years. Are you suggesting one day Adobe is going to break in my house and uninstall it?
I don't understand this at all, it seems at every turn I try to use this thing like my android tab and I simply can't, all I've found so far to actually be able to do is use iTunes for everything... pretty lame and something I'm not going to do when I can get this content free on all my other devices.
This is truly a shame. I was really hoping I was just doing something wrong. Glad I only spent $50 on it at a garage sale.

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash. Adobe is not providing Flash for Apple iOS devices, and they no longer provide Flash for any other cellular phones. Flash is officially gone.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
A sample of Apps that can display some Flash content:
      1. Puffin
      2. SkyFire
      3. Photon Flash
      4. Browse2Go
      5. Swifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

iOS devices do not run Flash Player.

How do I view videos that need Adobe Flash Player on my iPad? If this device does not support Adobe Flash?

Skyfire is Not the answer! Bad reviews and you have to pay to try.
I used Puffin Free Browser. Worked perfectly with a 14 day free trial for Flash. It worked well for Flash videos so I would buy the full version.

  • Is there any timeline soon that apple users will be able to open things that need adobe flash player?  I can not even play any games on Facebook, I can't open certain files, pictures sent to me or things like forms I news to see when I am not home

I am so frustrated about Adobe Flash player. I can not play any Facebook games, open certain files and pictures and documents that I need to access because not only does this phone not do it but my old Palm Pre couldn't do it either. I have had so many times where I needed to access things either online or via email, or message that I can not even look at because of this. I have to wait until I for home or ask someone else to do it for me which is embarrassing. I rave about my iPhone 4S all the time because it is truly great except for this. When it use to happen with my Pal Pre I figures once I got my iPhone that it wouldn't happen anymore but I guess I was completely wrong. I have had this problem for years and always get a message saying that it's being worked on. Well a couple of years is a long time to work on it. I understand about contracts and stuff but why is it taking a company such as Apple to be able to get it for their products? I get a lot and always want to play the games on Facebook but I can't do it on most of them at least the ones I have tried. So I can not play against anyone at that time I have to wait until I get home or use someone else's computer or something. Please tell me that in the extremely near future that this will not be a problem anymore. PLEASE!!  I am sure I am not the only one out there who is having issues and if you do get it available please let there be an upload/upgrade for current phones and not just for future versions of Apple phones. That just wouldnt be very fair to all of your loyal customers and tell everyone to get your products because they are great and end up leaving this little problem out until they by your phone.  Especially if they just got the phone they have. You guys are awesome with technology I have faith that you can make this available to all Apple products old and new by uploads or upgrades. Thank you hopefully can give me some info about the status with this or if there wen is one. I would have thought that being a company such as you are that it would already be taking care of right from the beginning and not wait years to take care of somewhat that is very important ro have especially when there is so much our there using Adobe Flash now. I am not sure if this is just a blog with customers or if the company actually sees these posts but I am just hoping company or not that someone knows something about this. Thank you for your time and for reading this entire post if you have even gotten this far.

Oh no... NOT THE 99-PAGER!!! Anything but THAT!!!

  • I need adobe flash player to listen to an audio download, how or what will work

Can I download adobe flash player on iPad air

Yes.  There are several Browsers in the App store that support Flash to varying degrees.
Yoiu may want to test some of those out.
Things like Puffin, Skyfire, Photon, etc... Search for "Flash Browser"  in the App Store.

  • Sites that use adobe flash player work on safari but not on firefox-it keeps asking me to download adobe flash player

Whenever I try to use a web site that needs Adobe Flash Player, Firefox asks me to download it. When I download it and try again, it still asks me to download. When I access the same web site using Safari, I have no problem. This is true for many web sites - whichever ones require Adobe Flash Player.

    Carole,
You do not seem to have Adobe Flash (aka Shockwave Flash) installed. If you did you would see it listed under your plugins. Follow the instructions in the article below to install Flash in Firefox.
    See: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Installing+the+Flash+plugin
After the installation, check your version here: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
    or here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
    Current version is: 10.1.53.64

  • I Need a Flash Player - Mac OSX 10.5.8 Intel

I have a MAJOR problem. My flash player had no issues for years but I tried updating it to fix Safari and had to uninstall my Flash player. This created all kinds of problems.
Naturally, when a page tells me to update my Flash player, it brings me to the Adobe page that says my OS doesn't support the latest version of Flash and I need to find an archived version.
From what I've researched, I need to use Flash player 10.3.183.90 .........so I found that archived version. I'm opening the "Install Adobe Flash Player" folder and it just keeps bouncing in my dock...nothing happens.
I'm so frustrated that I don't know what to do anymore. All I'm asking for is a working version of Flash here. Please help me.

I just figured out a possible solution to the bouncing folder issue. Instead of double clicking on the "Install Adobe Flash Player" icon in the .dmg folder, right-click (control-click) and select "Show Package Contents" from the resutling pull-down menu.
Then select the following file: (folder) / Contents / Resources / Adobe Flash Player.pkg
Double-click to open. It should open the installer app "Install Plugin" and will run after you click continue.
I was able to get this archived version of Flash Player working in Safari on OS X 10.5.8 on MacBook Pro 2.6 GHz Intel Duo. It also works within Google Chome, but you have to allow it each time it's called. No workaround for that hiccup.
Huge pain in the *** though! It really feels like Apple and Adobe both don't want you to easily find and install this version of the Flash Plaer, even though many websites still require the plugin to view certain content. In my case, it's content shown on my son's school's e-learning website Egenuity.com — which for us is s non-negotiable, since it's his eduction—not a video game.
This B.S. cost me an hour of time to figure out how to reslove this problem for him. It's unlikely that most parents (or the school's Windows IT staff) are as savvy as me when it comes to troubleshooting these types of Mac OS issues. Which means that other students and their parents with this Mac OS X 10.5.8 (or ealier) setup will face similar frustration. Unacceptable Adobe!

    What problem?
There is no flash player for iphone.  it does not exist.  This is not a problem.  It is simply not a feature.
The iphone also does not have a can opener.  This also is not a problem, just not a feature.

  • Adobe Flash Player 11 plays like its stuck on fast forward with no sound

I just finished setting up windows xp professional sp3 after a recent hard drive failure. My registry and everything are checking out ok. However when i try to watch vids on youtube or any that would use flash player they play like their stuck on fastforward. Please help I would like to be able to watch videos.

Flash player is still running too fast without sound multiple system restarts and flash reinstalls have not fixed it either. I have also uninstalled it before installing it. I am running windows xp proffesional sp3. My os was just reinstalled a day ago after my primary hard drive died. I don't think its a problem with the registry have ran multiple scans with vipre and tunup utilities everything is clean. I honestly would like to watch videos please.

  • HT1338 I download Adobe Flash but it doesn't install. Each time I encounter something that needs Adobe Flash it tells me I don't have it. I am getting tired downloading it and then it isn't there.

I download Adobe Flash but it doesn't install. Each time I encounter something that needs Adobe Flash it tells me I don't have it. I am getting tired downloading it and then it isn't there.

    install_flash_player_10_osx.dmg
    install_flash_player_10_osx-1.dmg
    install_flash_player_10_osx-2.dmg
    install_flash_player_10_osx-3.dmg
    install_flash_player_10_osx-4.dmg
    etc to -9
Those are the ones you downloaded. Ten times, apparently. Since install_flash_player_10_osx.dmg already existed, the next download was appended with -1. The next -2, etc. They'll all be identical, so it doesn't matter which one you use. Though I'd go with the last one as it may be a slightly updated version from the first download, depending on how long ago you did the first one.
A .dmg file is a Disk Image. When you double click them, they open up a pseudo drive on the desktop. When you open one of these ten items, the Flash installer will appear in a file window. Run it to install Flash. Then close the file window (displaying from the psuedo drive) and then put the "drive" in the trash to dismount it. You can then delete all of those.
Looks like you also downloaded the Adobe Reader twice. Versions 10.1.2 and 10.1.3. Also Skype, whatever the Thomson thing is, and an unnecessary Flash uninstaller (the Flash installer will put an uninstaller in the Utilities folder).

  • I need a flash player that does split screen with two "like" videos

I am a newbie on Flash and really need some guidance or a source code to work off of.  I need a flash player that I can have two videos, overlayed with a mask at 50% on each so I see half of one video on the right and half of the other video on the left, thus split screen.
We are trying to show off the same video with a before and after effect or show processed video on one side and non-processed video on the other.
If anyone has a sample or knows how to do this, I would be interested in talking with them.
    Thanks in advance.

Basically the two videos are identical except what was processed on the post
file.  So ideally we would want:
    Video 1 (left side 50%)
    Video 2 (right side 50%)
One controller with play, pause and full screen.

  • In recent weeks many websites show "blocked plug-in". Clicking onto it reveals a notice that my Adobe Flash Player needs updating but I'm not able to do it because Step 3  of the update has "blocked plug-in" in it.

In recent weeks many websites on my OS X (10.6.8) have been showing a white patch with "blocked plug-in" on it preventing access to all of the site. When I
click onto it a message appears stating that my Adobe Flash Player needs updating and when I have downloaded the upgrade & moved  to Step 3 I get
a "blocked plug in" on it as well. How do I resolve this issue?
    Archeee

When you have installed the latest version of Flash, relaunch Safari and test.
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
You can also try these illustrated instructions from C F McBlob to perform a full "clean install", which will resolve the "Blocked Plug-in" message when trying to update via the GUI updater from Adobe.
Use the FULL installer for 12.0.0.44:  Flash Player 12 (Mac OS X)
And the instructons are here: Snow Leopard Clean Install.pdf
