I have an ELOTouch monitor without a driver for the touch screen, Series ET1947-XXWA-1. Any ideas?

I have a ELO touch monitor. I downloaded a driver from ELO's archive files bnut not sure if this is what I need to get the touch feature to work. I'm plugged in to my mac mini via dvi, I also am plugged into the serial port of the display through a serial to usb adapter to my mac mini. What am I doing wrong?

Does the USB>Serial adopter work for other serial devices? Maybe that is not working?

I can't see why that would have any effect, but it was the last update/add-on i installed to the browser, but even then,.......it was working fine for a week and a half afterwards until now. Please help.

You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
If you detect a faulty add-on, you should contact its author for support. You can also search for alternatives. Site filters are relatively common in the add-ons gallery: [http://addons.mozilla.org addons.mozilla.org].

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. After admittedly only a quick read the one thing you don't say is how you are trying to make this move. Most people with moving library issues do it the wrong way. Plenty of web sites tell you how to do it the wrong way.
If the iTunes application is started before the drive with the library is fully mounted and awake iTunes will revert back to the internal drive.

Well, I tried the new beta driver (SBZ_CD_L13_1_00_20_BETA) - it has to be the worse sounding driver yet. I only have bass in 2.1 mode. In 5.1 I get the front left and right, nothing else. With the driver on the CD the only speaker that would not work in 5.1 was the sub. In surround mode, I get a very tinny left, center & right.
The control panel is still unresponsive unless you uninstall the extras.
Edit: Wow. While I had lost all hope of getting the sound I paid for out of this sound card I found the reason I had no bass out of this driver. Unlike all the previous versions of the driver the speaker configuration utility does not auto-sync with the control panel. Once I went into the speaker configuration utility and set it from headphones to 5.1 every thing worked perfectly for the first time since I purchassed this card four months ago. Cancel my refund!
Edit 2: I guess I spoke too soon. I have no clue what happened however now I am back where I started. No bass and am completely unable to figure out why.

Ingo, the reset has worked, pressing home and sleep buttons together! The problem is that the screen turned black and the iPod does not start again.
Yesterday, I wrapped the iPod with a plastic. Today, the slide to unlock is moving, but still not reaching the end of the slide bar.

But, unless I missed something, you are doing the repair with Aperture 3.5 so if 3.5 can't open an earlier library before doing the upgrade then unless I'm missing something the library will be upgraded before the repair is run, no?

You got me there, Frank - I wondered about the same thing, but Aperture is behaving differently, when upgrading a library, depending on if you are launching into the First Aid Tools or not.
I repeated my experiments, to explore this difference:
I restored an Aperture 3.4.3 library and launched the First Aid Tools:
Apertur went directly into First Aid Mode without first asking to upgrade.
Then "Repair" asked to be allowed to upgrade the library as you predicted.
During the upgrade "Aperture"showed "Rebuilding", not "Repairing" or "upgrading".
Second experiment: When I only double-click the 3.4.3 library instead of repairing, the upgrade alert is very different:
It takes a shorter time and does not show "rebuilding".
I am quite certain, that Aperture will use a different upgrade prodecure, when launched into the First Aid panel for repairing or rebuilding.

In the Mac side of things, backups usually come in two flavors: clones or incrementals.
A bootable clone is a bit-for-bit copy of all essential files in the startup volume. If using the Lions, clones can be made using CarbonCopyCloner or just plain old Disk Utility. These backups represent the safest protection of your info, but take the longest to do. Recovery is an inverse process: you copy the clone back into the internal drive.
Incremental backups start with a complete backup of the startup volume and only copy whatever changed from the previous run. OS X includes the fully integrated Time Machine backup utility to do this. It is extremely easy to do and takes the least amount of time. Recovery is another matter altogether since you have to start with a freshly installed instance of the OS and have to apply all intervening backups to bring the result to the latest saved version.
As for where the backup takes place, the recommended media is an external dedicated drive or drives connected via the fastest interface available on your Mac: Thunderbolt, USB3, Firewire, or USB2. Network-based backups, wired or wireless, are attractive but may not offer the same performance and hence take longer. Also important to note that the entire drive need not be completely dedicated to a single backup. The Mac's EFI firmware infrastructure allows for an unlimited number of partitions on a hard drive and each can be used for either type of backups.

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS). There are some apps that perform fairly basic editing functions that are available in the store, but nothing as sophisticated as, for example, Lightroom.

I am using bootcamp with windows 7, and always is showing me that there is no networks, it says I don't have a driver for the adapter; therefore i keep installing it, and suddendly windows 7 doesnt recognized it.

The last driver that Canon released for the iP6600D was v10.51 for OS X 10.7. You could try downloading and installing this driver via this link.
Note that the driver may not be digitally signed so Gatekeeper will block its installation. To get past Gatekeeper, you can right-click on the installer and select Open from the pop-up menu that appears. You will then be given the option to install the driver.
