I have an ebook open on my windows pc and would like to continue ir on my laptop. The error message is LIC_ALREADY_ FULFILLED..
My laptop is authorized without an ID so I thought I'd be OK.Any thoughts?
Just in case this comes up for anyone else... I got the windows BACK by hooking my computer up to the external monitor, and REVERSING the arrangement of the monitors (so the one that was on the left was on the right, and vice versa). This placed the window in my field of view and I was able to retrieve it.

which suggests that mp4 files are even more limited.

However when downloaded this produces a file called 'howtosetupappeid.mp4' so soe sort of redirect appears to be in place, and these can sometimes cause trouble. It's better to link directly to the file - it's possible that the iPad doesn't handle the redirect.
That's all I can suggest: if it still doesn't cover the problem I can only refer you to the iPad forum where someone may be able to actually try your podcast and offer a comment. -

Want To Have Flash Project Open In New Browser Window

My project outputs and plays perfect to Flash (let default to
Flash 7) but when viewing it (via a link from a web page) it opens
in a "next" window and at the end, if you use the X (EXIT) button
from the player control bar it wants to close the browser window
and does not take you back to the webpage (where I have the link to
play). I cannot seem to find an option in the Preferences or during
output to make the player open in a "new" browser window. Is it
possible there is a browser setting for this instead of setting in

The window in which any content plays is determined by the
code contained for the link,
in the web-page from which it is launched. In a nutshell,
you add these parameters to the link when it is created in the
"Parent" window.
Below is a snippet from a Menu Builder project in which the
links to "Project1" and "Project2" are set to open in a "New"
window, without chrome (note the many "
=no" following an equal sign), at a size of 720 pixels by
540 pixels ... the snip below shows a link to "Project1.htm", a
document containing a Captivate movie. I have bolded the specific

All of which is to say, the target window is controlled from
the link in the parent document. I wouldn't suggest you just
copy-paste the above code, as I took liberties with it. I
would suggest that you can do this yourself with your own
HTML editor (Dreamweaver, etc.), or even better, get your local
web-guru to do it for you.

I have a mac book pro. Yesterday the mail app failed to open. I have tried to open it from the dock and the application folder but nothing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions to get it to work?
You don't need iDVD unless you are going to make DVDs. If you are just trying to share files, iDVD won't help you at all.
What you want to do is in iMovie, choose File/Share/File, and export that way. It creates an .mp4 file that should be readable on Macs or Windows.
You could also File/Share/YouTube if you don't mind posting them to YouTube, because of course YouTube videos are watchable by any Mac or Windows computer made in the last 10 years. -
Safari keeps giving and error message. " Safari can't open the web page( insert web page here) , because it can't establish a secure connetion to the server.
It only seams to have a problem with https sites.
Any help would be appreciatedThe "s" in "https" indicates the site is a secure server--usually a site that will require a password. Connections to secure servers can be blocked by parental controls. Are you using any parental controls, either through OSX's settings (in System Preferences) or third party parental control software (such as Netnanny)? If so, check the settings to make sure they will allow the connection.

When opening the version of Iphoto i have an error message appears that says; You can't open your current iphoto library using this version of Iphoto. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iphoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iphoto. What? If I can't open the current library using the latest version of iphoto, and I am asked to make changes the the newest version!!! What version of iPhoto do you have? If you're on 10.5 then you're not running the latest iPhoto
Any chance that the library was opened with another version?
Simplest solution will be to just restore from your back up. -
My itunes won't open - it says: 'The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem' I have tried un-installing then re-installing itunes and I still get the same message?? Can anyone help?

I want to open a new browser window and display the html file in local drive. The below html applet work in local system successfully. But i deploy the same in web server (Tomcat) and try the same in client machine it does not work. Please help.

The best audience for applets is people off the internet. 'People off the internet' might be using a computer that has no (what was it?) 'open.html' in the root of the C: drive. In fact (shock horror) they may not even be running Windows, and would therefore probably have no 'C:' drive at all.
If you do not intend to distribute this to people off the web, an application makes a lot more sense, but even then, you cannot rely on the document being there unless you 'put it there' (during installation, for instance).
As the other poster intimated, applets can load documents off the local disk as long as they are trusted. Here is an example*, but note that it is not so rash as to presume any particular path or file, and instead leaves it to the user to choose the document to display.

I am pretty sure showDocument() in an applet off the internet will work with an URL pointing to a foreign (not its own) server, but it will not be able to load documents off the end user's local disks.
I suggest a couple of things.
- Try to express this problem in terms of what feature it is that you want to offer the end user. Your question jumps directly to a bad strategy for achieving ..who knows what? An example of a feature is "Shows the applet 'help' files on pressing F1".
- A good way to indicate interest in a solution is to offer [Duke stars|http://wikis.sun.com/display/SunForums/Duke+Stars+Program+Overview] to match that interest.

I have 5 frequently-used websites on app tabs on my Firefox browser window. I've had these since I first saw the update about app tabs, and I have never before had a problem with it.
Today, I was working in one tab, and realized I needed to check something on the website at another app tab. I have done that sort of thing many times. But for some reason today, when I clicked on that other app tab, there seemed to be a long wait like it was working hard to make the switch, then suddenly a new Mozilla Firefox window opened with the only tab being the "another app tab" that I had clicked on.
That particular app tab is now missing from my original browser window.
I must've clicked something by accident or hit another key while I was clicking with the mouse on the app tab that I wanted to look at. I have no idea why it opened in its own window and disappeared from my app tabs on the original window.
How do I get that app tab back with the others on the original browser window? Is there any way other than simply starting over and re-pinning that site as an app tab?
If I have to re-pin it on the original window, is there a way to make that app tab the 1st in sequence the way it was before it opened in its own window? It is my most-commonly-used app tab, so I'd really like it to be the first in line, so to speak.

Firefox 3.5 versions and later have a feature called tear-off tabs.<br />
You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.<br />
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo that detaching.<br />

App Store won't open, error message "App Store can not be opened because of a problem". I haven't been able to update anything for a week or so. I have used Disk Utility, Drive Genius, deleting the .plist, all to no avail. My Mac Mail hasn't worked since the upgrade to Mavericks. Mavericks can't see my LaCie Cloudbox. Can any of these be solved by me?
I have the same error "XXXX App cannot be opened because of a problem". And I also cannot open iTunes and get the error "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."
Only Apple apps seem to be at issue here...
Repairing Permissions did not fix this.
I noticed this after the last Software update. Is there no fix other than re-installing?

Open the Mac App Store and try purchasing Mountain Lion 10.8. If you get told it's incompatible, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) or better CPU with at least 2GB of RAM, and if it does, phone the online Apple Store and order a download code for Lion 10.7.

Hi, I have 10.6.8 and an HP printer so it may be slightly different but I'll give it my best shot:
Go to System Preferences.
Click on "Print & Fax"
Near the top of that page you should see "Print" and "Scan" options. Click "Scan"
A button appears that says "open scanner"
The settings are different between the different scanner models so I'm not sure what the next window will look like, but it should be pretty straightforward from there. It will scan to a JPEG image which you can attach to an email. I hope that helps! Let me know if there's anything ense I can help with. -
Elements 13 - a jpg file always opens in B & W raw and I cannot get it to open in colour. Same file opens OK in colour in Elements 9. Any suggestions how I can get it to open in colour in Elements 13?
Thanks for your reply - I just open the file with "Open" in the File menu - all my own jpg files open fine in colour. This is someone else's photo given to me and it does not matter how I open it "Open", "Open in raw" or "Open with ..." it always opens in B & W raw in the raw dialogue box. In Elements 9, which I also have on my PC it opens fine as jpg in colour so I can edit it there, but I am just wondering why I am getting this problem in elements 13. If I open it in any other programme such as Windows Photo viewer or Office 2010 viewer it opens fine in colour.

Itunes document manager pro will not open a document with .cwk extension. It will catch the document then error message states that it cannot open document. Can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong?
Forgive my ignorance but I have never hear of iTunes Document Manager Pro. If you mean Document Manager Pro, i was able to find that. Back to your problem, have you tried opening one of those files in the iOS iWorks apps? Form the quick read that I did about this, .cwk files can be opened by Pages, Numbers or Keynote, depending on what type of document that it is and those files can be read by Document Manager Pro, after properly saving them. I don't see that you can go directly from the .cwk file in Document Manager Pro without converting them first.
I took a very quick look at the app, so I may be a missing something about its capability.
