I have an error msg: Warning!! iOS Crash Report
I just got this error msg.
Warning!! iOS Crash Report. Due to a third party application in your phone, iOS is crashed. Contact Support for an Immediate Fix.
There is a 1-800 number noted. Is this legit or this this a virus? We have tried shutting down the ipad and re-setting but nothing seems to work. This error message keeps popping up. Anyone got any ideas?
Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it has never been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.

I see some strange crash reports which I couldn't understand much what it is. I believe it is something related to audio service in iOS. I am working on a audio app where each record is played in FIFO order. Is the crash log is something to do with my app? Here is the snippet of the crash report

ShashankI just had the same "scam" this evening. I got the Safari message: "http://supportcallnow.com 'warning!! iOS Crash Report' " Due to a third party application in your phone, iOS crashed. Contact Support for an immediate fix - 1-800-480-4170. I too called the phone # to see what was going on. It went straight on hold when I called (didn't ring) and then when someone came on the line, it was a woman who I could barely hear due to the noise in the background. She stated that my ios crashed and was no longer something on my iPhone5S and that a 3rd party was at that time taking all my info. off my phone (nice "scare tactic" eh?). She then said for $80 though she could reinstall ios and just needed my credit card # (yeah, ooooookkkay). So I said that was ridiculous as I had been using apps and my phone the whole time I was talking to her on speaker and said I would call Apple Support directly. She told me they would say the same thing about having to pay to have ios reinstalled on my phone. I said I highly doubt it and told her I wouldn't pay the money and that she was essentially full of crap. She then said (prob after realizing I wasn't buying any of it) "OK ma'am" and hung up on me.
Adamfrombessemer's advice works if you're surfing sites and get a "ios Crash Report" message in Safari on your iPhone like I did!
1. Place the phone in Airplane mode.
2. Go to Settings > Safari > And Clear History and website Data

Fairly sure this is a virus or at least a scam. Have already tried to reset by holding the power and square down until the apple icon appears, but to no avail. I cannot get the message off of the Safari screen .

I had power hits that cycled my computer a few times. I had to do a recovery from a week ago. Firefox will no longer start. A crash report pop-up shows an error and cannot send a report. I'm assuming the program will have to be reinstalled. Will I loose all previous bookmarks. Doing a windows search for bookmarks only shows about 1/3 of saved bookmarks. Are they gone too.
I gambled, and all bookmarks returned.

Using 'should be -rw-r--r-- , they are lrw-r--r--' as an example, you will see the that the permissions are not changed, but the | indicates a different location. This is because an update to Leopard onwards changed the location of a number of system components.

"Unable to Access" error msg for BI Publisher Report
Hello All,
I am getting the following error when trying to access a BI Publisher report from the dashbaord. We can access the folders that come with BI Publisher examples, ie Executives, Financials, HR Manager but not the "GTR" that we have created.
Privelleges are the same. The folders have the same rights too.
This is for OBIEE 10.1.3.4 with BI Publisher of the same version, running on a solaris box.
Any thoughts.

New to Flash here (using CS3), trying to create a countdown

Each time I launch iTunes (latest version) on Windows 7 (w/ latest system updates) I receive the following error msg:
"Warning! The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes."
When I click on "OK" iTunes completes the launch process and the application functions properly. This error msg appears without fail every time I launch the app.
I have reinstalled iTunes four times and continue to receive this message. iTunes is set in the system Control Panel as the default program for all functions that iTunes uses. I never burn CDs or DVDs and have never attempted to do so on this machine. I have had iTunes on this computer since I bought it last November and never had a problem with it until 2 months ago when this message began popping up. I did not notice any action I took that caused this, in terms of creating conflicts.
I hope someone can assist me in finding a way to stop this annoying error! Thanks!
DavidI'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

When I tried to run MF30 (create preliminary cost estimate) for material 1234 (FERT) in mth of Nov'07, I have encountered error msg CK241 "Value of cost component split is less than zero".
I have checked to the material BOM, there are 2 items A & B. B is a scrap material where the quantity entered is -2,000KG. Both items were ticked for "Relevant to costing" but unticked for "Co-Product" in BOM. There is costing run at end of Oct'07 for material 1234 and the result as below:-
Total value Quantity
Material 1234 37.88 1,000pc
A 0.00 1,000SH
B -872.00 -2,000KG
But when I tried to run MF30 again for material 1234 in mth of Dec'07, system seems able to accept the creation of preliminary cost estimate. I have checked for the following items:-
1) BOM -> no changes
2) Error msg in customising -> no changes make to msg CK241 (eg to change from error to warning)
3) Costing run -> no changes
Since everything remained no change, wandering why system suddenly can accept the creation of preliminary cost estimate.

Have checked & there are changes made in std price for item A & B via MR21. But the changes were before costing run for material 1234.
Also, there is no changes on the cost component split. Is there any documentation I can refer with regards to cost component split and creation of prelimary cost estimate?
