I have an external contact address file. I want to create a dynamic pdf form and type in the last name and have it populate the form with first name, address, phone etc. I have Acrobat 9 Pro

The external file will be updated weekly. The data can be put in any format that will work. What format is best? The form is an Acrobat form. Minnesota state forms downloaded from their website and we use the Acrobat 9 forms wizard to render them fill-able. What is LiveCycle Designer? There isn't much more I can add. Is it possible or not? The Adobe Indian tech guy said I needed java scripts.

Incidentally, just to clarify the terminology so you don't get into confusion, you don't mean 'burn' (make a CD from existing files) you mean 'rip' (copy files from a CD onto your computer). -

just go to www.itunes.com and reinstall, the installer will ask you if you want to install or repair, select repair and that will install Bonjour for you.

As the drive shows in Disk Utility there must be some life left in it surely. There is a possibilty that the physical connection between the USB cord and the external drive is damaged but since the drive shows up I believe it's unlikely... before I give it to the pro's is there anything else I can do to diagnose the issue?Hello,
I have just experienced the same thing!
Although my external drive shows in Disk Utility, it does not show in Finder.
And the Verify/Repair buttons are also greyed out.
Also, although the drive is 2TB. DU shows it as having Total Capacity of only 4.14GB! (Which should be the Free Space).
I was wondering if you solved your problem, & if so, would you share your solution.
I´m afraid to Erase in case I lose all my Data on the drive.

I have a downloaded font file for a school problem on a flash drive and I do not know how to install it into my photoshop application. Need to be walked through this as I am an older user who does not understand any of this stuff.
Fonts are handled by your operating system and installed through the respective System Control panel (Windows) or Fontbook (Mac). On Windows simply type "Fonts" in the search bar in the start menu and when you open the panel/ folder use File --> Add Font. On Mac the procedures are similar, you just need to find the Fontbook app in Applications:Utilities.

I have an ipad 2 on ops 4.3 and have just updated to 7.1 via itunes. I backed up first and have synced repeatedly but keep getting a message on my ipdad screen that the ipad is not set up - I chose the set up option restore from itunes back up
To free up hard drive space the best bet is to move data files that you don't need access to all the time. Likely candidates are music, video, and photos. Things like word processing and spreadsheet files can also be moved but they tend not to be very large and so don't free up much space. The problem with moving the above mentioned files is that iTunes and iPhoto need to know where the files are stored.
Here's an article explaining how to move the iTunes folder. You can move the iPhoto library using the Finder but there is a slight complication. Start iPhoto, open the Preferences and click on the Advanced tab. The first option is "Copy items to the iPhoto Library". If this option is checked, copy the iPhoto library to your external folder (drag it from the Pictures folder to your external drive) and then delete it from your Picture folder. If this option is not checked, it is a bit more complicated and we'll need to talk a bit. -

You can create up to 3 alias addresses but you have to do this on icloud.com from your computer browser. This article explains how: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622. Also, incoming email to an alias address will go to your current iCloud inbox so it really isn't a separate account; just a different email address for the same account.
Each iCloud account only has a single iCloud email account. If you really want to set up another, you would need to add a secondary iCloud account by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud, then entering a different Apple ID to create the account. You can then turn on Mail to create the new account. Mail in secondary accounts, however, is fetch email, not push (which is only supported in the primary account). -
I have a apple component AV TV out cable (red, green,blue + red,white) and have had this connected to TV for about 6 months working fine. I moved the TV disconnected cables to move now I can only get video and no sound back on TV. Any suggestions ?

I can't figure out how to change my name so that the 'sender' name reflects my name change. Any help gratefully received! I have an ipod touch 4th gen, installed the latest update to iOS 6 and have lost all my music, apps etc. It also linked up with an alternate email address???? Help!
I have a similar issue happenning with my ipod touch 64GB running IOS 6.0.1. My music content is stored via itunes on my Snow Leopard macbook pro as well (and not in the cloud). The music on my ipod (which is sync'd to my macbook pro when I connect via usb) has randomly disappeared about 3 or 4 times lately, not during sync'ing and unrelated to battery charge levels. Fortunately I have been able to restore it by restarting my macbook pro then re-syncing the ipod, which it is now doing as I write, but it takes hours (for over 3000 songs). Having looked at a few other forum discussion pages, it seems this may be a bug related to IOS 6 updates and using music/itunes and podcast playing apps. The same thing has intermittently occurred with some other content such as downloaded podcasts, iplayer content and photos. Once I reconnected the ipod it synced and apparently restored the content, but I can't understand why it lost it in the first place, and its very annoying. Lets hope the reinstalling works on my ipod tonight....up to 248 of 3326 songs syncing as I write....

Settings > iCloud, scroll down and delete the account, sign back in by choosing the option to create a new Apple ID.
