I have an exvel spreadsheet I want to send to an email address.. I says I can not send because I don't have outlook...Is there a way to send this to an email thru firefox instead of microsoft.
This is not a one time thing, I need it to be ongoing....
Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

I have an excel spreadsheet that needs to be transferred from a PC to my imac. I downloaded the numbers app, but the spreadsheet isn't appearing like the original in the numbers program. More compatible are OpenOffice or NeoOffice. Also if you are using a PowerPC Mac you may not be able to use the most recent Office anyway. Make sure the version of Office you get is compatible with your Mac. PPC indicates PowerPC, which was only found on Macs early 2006 and older. Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac to determine which CPU is on your Mac. If it says G3, G4, or G5 it is PowerPC. If it says Intel Core you can upgrade to Snow Leopard minimum and possibly the latest Office, if it says Intel Core2Duo (with the 2 in the middle) or Core i with some number you may be able to upgrade to Lion, but certainly no trouble wiht the latest Office.

Hi Andy, yes it's a paid Upgrade...
First you need to research all the problems people are having with the higher OSX versions, & make sure you have a bootable clone of what you have just in case.
then you must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.
Snow Leopard/10.6.x Requirements...

My iPhone 5 is not syncing with my iTunes 11.3, on OSx. I have just completed all of the most recent updates and have looked into completely uninstalling iTunes but I found my computer won't let me! Any ideas?

I purchased a song on iTunes and it shows up in the song list with an exclamation point on the side of it. It says the song could not be found. I have done a search and can't find it but iTunes won't let me download or buy it again. Help!!

All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

I have tried on many occasions to authorize my computer, it just won't let me!!!! So I can't get my apps that I have purchased onto my iPhone :-(
No error message, when I go to authorize and I click on it, nothing happens. Tried dozens of times. Grrrrr. Also when I try to get an app from the iPhone. It tells me I have put the wrong I'd or password. This is wrong. I have successfully installed a few apps in iTunes. But can't get the phone to sync the apps, it syncs everything else. So I presume it's this authorization that is stopping me, can't think what else it could be. Unless I have a dodgy iPhone. It's only 3 wks old :-(

I have a restrictions passcode on my son's phone. I had recently changed the code and now what I thought was the new code, isn't working.
I need to restore the phone, but it won't let me until I turn off "Find my iPhone." I can't turn that off without a passcode.

Need to restore iPod, but iTunes won't let me...
Apparently, I disconnected my iPod the wrong way (I will admit to that) and now I need to restore it. That is fine and dandy, I don't mind. But whenever I go into iTunes to perform the restore, it's giving me a funny message and it won't let me do it. It says something like not having the proper update or proper software, but the silly thing is, I don't have the option to update it and I shouldn't have to anyway, because I just got the dang thing a week ago! This is very upsetting, and I hope someone here can help. It is a 30 GB 5th gen.
I know the difference between restoring and updating, it's just that when I go to restore it, I get two buttons. One says restore, and the other, which is faded out anyway, says update. But when I click restore, I get a message saying that it can't restore. I am actually having problems getting my computer to even recognize the iPod right now, so I can't tell you what the message said specifically. Only that it said that I could not restore the iPod because I didn't have the right kind of update or software to do so. I'll keep working on it and see if anything changes, but right now, not much progress is being made.
