There are two ways to get photos and videos on your iPod:
- The can by synced to the iPod using the Photos pane in iTunes. Thises photos and video aenot port of the backup that iTunes makes when you sync.
- The other way is to take photos and videos with the iPod's camera (4G only) or to save like screeen shots or aved email attachments. This type of photos and videos are includd n the backup that iTunes makes. Thus, restoring from backup will retore those photos and video to the iPod up until the time the backup was made. Just make sure that you have auto-syncing turned off in iTunes otherwise iTunes will make a backup and overwite the old one. Do this by checking the box titled "Prevent iPods...syncing" in iTunes>Preferences>Devices.

Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you in. If you are using your computer's iTunes then does music show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (on your phone you might be able to redownload media via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app) ? If music shows there, but not that album, then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you aren't in a country when you can redownload music and it's still on your phone then you should be able to copy it over from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.

How can I get photos out of iPad Messages app?

I received a bunch of photos in a Message. I'd like to be able to scroll through them in another app, like iPhoto or similar, to show people. I'd also like to get them sent on to my Mac.
I've tried selecting the images in the message and clicking the Forward button, then entering my email address, but the email does not show up on the Mac and in Messages on the iPad there's a little exclamation point in red beside each image.
Any help greatly appreciated.

If that is the only possibility, then yes, maybe. But I really want to transfer the dozen or so photos all at once.
It seems sensible to me (but maybe not to Apple) that the photos, being files, exist independantly of the app they happen to be received in. So another app should be able to get at them. I'd just like to know how.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

You appear to have an iPhone 5. Snipsnap 2.4.2, the current version, says it works on iPhone 5, iOS 5.0 or later. Why do you want an out of date version of the app?

Do you have a wireless router? How is the print server configured with that?

You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.
