I have an HP pavillion windows 7. When I start it up it says windows could not load
Then it does the recommended startup repair which still does not work and then asks me if I would like to do a system restore. I have tried 4 times to restore my computer and to no avail. It looks like it is going to load to the windows sign on screen but just hangs on the blank screen with my mouse how do I fix this issue? I need help fast as my computer is my life.
Two things1) I hope that cherished data is backup somewhere besides this PC
2) the Recovery DVD set was made and is on hand
Since you are still able to post, that must mean there is a different PC available. Make a Linux Live CD on the posting computer (I like Ubuntu but Knoppix will work too) http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop

Save any data to an external hard drive or DVD, then try to run the Recovery from either the hard drive partition or the Recovery set.

Hi, just recently when I attemted synced my ipod touch 5th generation, i got a message saying

when i follow the steps it does it but when it gets to itunes it says 'iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet' but i am connected to the internet ..?
Were you definitely connected to the internet at the time? If you don't have iOS 5 on your iPhone then the only way to update it would be via iTunes, once updated to the latest version of iOS you'll be able to update your iPhone without connecting to iTunes "over-the-air".
Before updating however it goes without saying to Backup your iPhone, this should happen by default upon connecting your iPhone to iTunes.

The last page that you looked at stopped responding and has caused Safari to loop the error.
Go to Settings
Safari
Turn on Private browsing and close all open tabs
Turn off Private browsing and open Safari.
This should solve the problem.
If it doesn't:
Put phone in to AirPlane mode and open safari. Shut down the phone by holding down the power button and turn it back on.
This will have resolved your problem.

When I started my new iPad 2 I could not start from a previous backup because the os on the new iPad is not the latest 7.x used to backup the previous ipad2 to install the new os I had to start the iPad as new. But now I cannot backup from the previously backup ipad

Failure when connecting MS SQL SERVER from ODI ! could not load JDBS driver
i have some trouble with connecting MS SQL SERVER from ODI.
I have already downland jdbs driver 3.0 (and 2.0 ) and copy the sqljdbc4.jar to D:\oracle\product\11.1.1\Oracle_ODI_1\oracledi\agent\drivers( where the oracle jdbs driver is already exitst )....but i have this error :
could not load JDBS driver class..
thanksAfter more investigation and even more chocolate, we've identified the problem and it's now working. For anyone else who strikes this problem in future, here's something to check/consider/try:
Even though Squirrel SQL Client was connecting and working ok using the MS JDBC driver (v 3.0), it recorded this in its logs:
Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" and "Latin1_General_CI_AS" in the INTERSECT operation.
We've found that the open source jTDS driver does not have the same issue as the Microsoft one.
We've installed the current jTDS driver, recorded the driver name (net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver) and the JDBC URL (jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://<hostname>:1433/<database>) and the connection is now working fine.

When I try to redeem my voucher using the code it says it has not been properly activate? What does this mean?
Like all gift cards, iTunes Gift Cards have to be activated by the retailer at the store where the card was purchased and that message makes it sound like that did not take happen. So perhaps that is the issue and you might have to take the card and the receipt back to the store and have it activated.

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -

I have an apple tv 3 but when i use Home Sharing from my Windows Laptop the Apple TV shows all my music on the TV but it will only play 1 or 2 songs and then stops!!! Annoying, so I have to re-start iTunes on my Laptop and it will play 1 or 2 more songs then stops again!!! still annoying.

Next, plug the Apple TV into your computer with a micro-usb cable (most phones today use these) and start up Itunes. It should detect the Apple TV in recovery.
After that, hold down Option on Apple or Alt on Windows and click Restore. This should open a window that allows you to select the software update you want to apply. Select the one you downloaded earlier.
It will then go through the restore process, which takes only a few minutes, and then you will be able to plug the Apple TV back in to your display and set it up again.
I recently ran into a similar issue with a bunch of these things and after restoring them all to the previous software version they are working again.
