I'm 65, have used Macs since 1989, and struggle with displays, cataracts, and bifocals. What I've seen of the Retinas in stores is that text size gets sacrificed for image quality. There are quite a few complaints about Retina in the MacBook Pro forums about not being able to increase the size of menu text without it getting fuzzy.
My iMac 27-inch is about a year old and I can set the display res from its default of 2560x1440 to 1920x1080 and everything is sharp. I understand that handy trick will not work for either the older hi-res macbook pros or the Retinas, so I don't expect it for any other Macs.
Speculation on Apple policy and new product releases is actiually not allowed by the Terms of Use around here so I doubt you'll get an answer to the "when" part. Anyone who does answer "when" is either guessing it up or violating a non-disclosure agreement! Apple plays its cards close to its vest and we average users only know "when" when Apple posts the announcement.

Try forcing iPhoto to load the Library on the External Hard drive by launching it while holding down the Option key. Choose the Library on the External HD, and quit iPhoto, see if iMovie can see the Library with the iPhoto Videos contained inside.

Well, most of what we can tell you is already stated in the message you are getting. A phone can only sync with one library at a time. You have apparently synced your phone with a different iTunes library in the past, or changes have been made to this library so the phone no longer recognizes it as the library with which it was synced. To know which you will have to provide the information.
If you bought them using the AppleID you use with this phone it may simply be easier to re-download them directly to the phone rather than sync them, though you will want to resolve that issue at some point.

No way. You are long past any upgrade eleigibility cycles, so you would have to buy a full CS6 license or join Creative Cloud. That also negates any advise people could give you on making a platform swap, which requires you to be on a current version, anyway.

They should be in itunes on your computer. Just sync them to the ipod.

Hi, I hope someone can help me with this. I used my iPod on a PC, now I have a Mac. I opened I-Tunes and it says that my iPod was connected to a different bibiothek and if I want to reset it so that the bibliothek from the Mac can be installed. I said no, because on my iPod I have lots of Songs that i dont want to have deleted. So is there a way I can get the songs from my ipod on the Mac and ad them to the new ones????

This seems like the most useful. Its a program called iPodRip, I used it a while ago when I accidentally erased my music, it copies the songs from your iPod to your computer, again I don't know if it'll work with a PC formatted iPod, but I seem to remember my friend using it for a situation like yours. You can transfer the purchases you made on your old iPhone 3 by plugging it in to iTunes and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from your IPhone to the iTunes on your computer. This will get music you purchased in iTunes, apps, etc. (e.g., movies).
But for the rest you would need to restore a backup of your newly deceased computer.

You want to export your bookmarks and settings out of OS X Firefox so you can import them into Windows Firefox?
You do this by selecting the Bookmarks menu in Firefox > Show All Bookmarks
There is a Star icon at the top of the window which you then can export Bookmarks to HTML file onto your Desktop or onto a USB thumb drive.
Then take that to the PC and use the same method to import them into Firefox there.
There is a Firefox Sync in the Preferences menu, but I havent' used it so I can't advise.
In Safari there is a Export Bookmarks under the File menu, you can then do the same, place it on a USB thumb drive and take it to the PC.
