I have an icon for my email on my desktop, but I would like my email icon to be on my firefox browser, so I don't have to close it every time I want to check my mail. Anyone know how to do this??

When I used Explorer as my browser, there was always a way to click on email right there on the browser. After I loaded firefox I haven't been able to find a way to add an email icon to my browser page

You can use the Get Mail add-on to add an icon that will open your email program - http://webdesigns.ms11.net/getmail.html

We have no idea how you have your network set up, or what devices other than a Time Capsule that you might have, so it it impossible to provide an answer for you based on what we know at this time.
Can you provide some details so that we can understand how you have things setup, what devices that you have, etc?
The Time Capsule does need to connect to the Internet to receive firmware updates from Apple, so you would be missing out on some significant things......like a recent important security update....if you try to configure the Time Capsule to connect in the way that you ask about.
Backups will not be "automatic" if you configure the Time Capsule without an Internet connection. You will have to manually switch networks whenever you want to back up, and then switch back again to your "other" network for normal use. Quite a hassle for most users, even if it can be done.

I ran the troubleshooter and did all the recommended fixes. Hours and hours later, I still have the same problem. I uninstalled itunes and all its folders, restarted the apple device services and changed the drive letter. Checked my security settings and everything else I can think of. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Got the latest Itunes (11, I think) and now it says that 'Itunes.itl isn't working because it's a newer version of Itunes' and when I go to my older Itunes, the F7, F8 and F9 buttons won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay, so I got the latest update and apparently it doesn't work. I had an icon on my desktop that wouldn't open because the 'newer Itunes' is apparently corrupt or something. Going into my applications, I found another Itunes icon and it opens up, but not the F7, F8 and F9 keys aren't working with it. I've already tried installing the latest version and that hasn't helped. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Your mail site usually will set a cookie. So in order for the site to recognize you after you exit and restart Firefox, these things have to be true:
* You are not vising your mail site in a private window
* You didn't change Firefox's default setting of accepting persistent cookies from all servers (first party and third party)
* You do not have Firefox set to clear cookies at shutdown
* You have not installed any add-ons that clear cookies
* You do not have any external cleaning/security/privacy software that clears Firefox cookies
If you're not sure about your cookie settings, check out the Privacy panel of the Options dialog:

If you have "Firefox will: remember history" then cookies are accepted and retained.

You can remove the Airplay password from the Settings menu on your AppleTV.

I'm quite sure there is no "automatic" way to do this. I've never heard of anyone trying it either. I suppose if you wanted try it, you could simply create a new folder in the same partition TM is on, label it for that year, then gather all the days for that year and drag/drop them into the folder. I suspect (but do not know) you'd be risking the continuity of your backups, meaning TM would simply start over again, meaning that next back up would start a new series of backups, with the first one roughly equalling the entire capacity of your internal HD, instead of adding only the new data to the previous backup. Once again, I would recommend against it, unless you're fine with TM starting a new series of backups if it doesn't work out the way you want it to. Hope you'll post back with results so we can learn from it.

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Having convinced my parents to get rid of their old AOL account and sign up for iCloud to sync their new iPhone with their old PC running Windows 7, I thought I was on to a winner. All working OK but is there any other way to get into emails besides going on iCloud website and signing in with name and password everytime? Can it be set up as a Mail account directly like on a Mac? Or using Outlook or Entourage? Help! I'm not a PC person!!

If they have Win 7 or 8, and Outlook 2007 or newer then you can.
Just download the iCloud Control Panel for Windows. Install and select the services you want (Mail Contacts and Calendars will appear in Outlook)
