Is there a customer service number that could help me with my illegible redemption code, to redeem my itunes gift card? I already called 1-800-MYapple and no help.

use the desktop app to install your subscribed programs.

I put in the redemption code on the insert card and computer says it is wrong. I know I have copied it correctly.

If you mean that you are creating a new iTunes account then the gift card field is optional, it doesn't have to be filled in, you can enter your credit card details instead as your payment method - and no, there isn't a 'promo code'.

Make sure you have the correct country selected.
