You haven't mentioned which version of PSE. If it is PSE 13, that requires a minimum of windows 7.

I see that the number in my Adobe Account is a MAC serial number – I purchased both the Mac and Windows versions of the program. I tried to enter the serial number of the Windows version into my account and it says it’s already registered. I'm TRYING to try the 30 free trial of Aperture. It downloads fine, but the promised email with serial number (needed to activate) never arrives. I've double checked email address. Anyone have a solution?
This has been reported numerous times in the past. It seesms that from time-to-time the response system responsible for sending the key goes away.

Some Blu rays and DVDs come with digital copies and you inset them into the dvd drive and it downloads the movie to itunes and then you can put them on any iDevice. The new iMac does not have a dvd or disc drive. What can I do?
You will either need to borrow or purchase an external DVD drive, or if you have access to another computer that has a DVD drive you may be able to use Remote Disk:

I am unable to find download instructions for LR4 which is listed in my Adobe ID with the Serial Number. Can anyone tell me how to download it to a new computer. I have CS6 and those instructions for downloading an owned product are easily found.

Ever since I downloaded the Acrobat Pro 11.0.09, the PDF Maker has not worked, but instead causes MS Word 2013 to crash. I cannot find the cause or the solution.
forumnotifierOK I will try to elaborate this time with pictures so it is clear what I am asking and what the issue I am facing is.
The specific option I want to be able to use from within the Adobe Acrobat Pro user interface is
File\Create\Batch Create Multiple Files
When I select that menu item a floating tool bar thing pops up that I can drag and drop files onto.
If I drag excel or powerpoint documents onto it and press OK it converts them fine. If I drag MS word documents into it the documents appear in the list but when I click OK it says no files processed.
In the process of troubleshooting I also tried using the Add Files button. That is when I discovered that MS word documents (*.doc, *.docx) are not showing up in the list of supported file types.
The same thing happens when I try converting a single file using the File\Create\Create PDF From File menu item. Just like above the MS word documents do not show up in the list of supported file types.
Looking in my registry entries as suggested by the article linked to by one of the posters above I can see both *.doc and *.docx types registered in the correct place.
Unless I can use the batch convert command as intended by the time my trial period runs out in 13 days I cannot justify buying this software. If converting the documents one at a time was acceptable I would just use Save As PDF from within MS Word which works just fine. I need the batch convert function so I can convert my whole library of word documents to PDF at once.
Any further assistance greatly appreciated!

According to the End User License Agreement (EULA) law, it is recommended to install the Adobe Software on only two computers and that is mentioned on the End User License Agreement when installing the Software provided the Software is not used simultaneously.
However, you can install the Software on the third Computer by de-activating the Software from one of the older one and then install it on the new one so that you can avoid any error message while activating the Software. -

If you need to find your serial number you can check:
The box it came in
iTunes, by going to Preferences>Devices and hovering your mouse over the backup

This won't help you find it, however. It will only enable you to prove it is yours if it is found, and to inform your insurance company. -
Question: I have just taken delivery of my LR5 disc. I had already downloaded the trial version. I just tried entering the serial number from my hard copy to authorise my downloaded trial version and it did not recognise the serial number. So, I loaded the hard copy, and the instructions said that it would just overwrite the downloaded version. And again it will not recognise my serial number! I am not wanting to uninstall the trial version as I have already got quite a lot of personal preferences entered etc. Help please. I am on a macbook pro with latest OS

I was installing Mac X Lion on my iMac when the power went off. A error message says install failed, Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer, The installer encountered an eror that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Click Restart to restart your computer and try installing again. When I restart it keeps going to install Lion and getting the same error message. I tried starting with holding the option key down and selecting Mac Hard disk, but again it keeps going to the installer and the error comes again.
How can I download a copy on my MacBook Pro and put it on my iMac?If so, the first thing I would do is to back up your data on the ill mac. I assume both macs have firewire port, get a cable and connect both macs via this cable. Then restart your ill mac by pressing T key after chime, it will become a simple external disk you should see on the desktop of your healthy mac. Back up your data.
Now, with this action accomplished, you may go on. BArney - 15E is optimistic and says how to restart in recovery mode—this may be possible if installation was complete for recovery partition (I doubt this, but I may be wrong).
Otherwise, I would reinstall from the scratch. If after connecting your ill mac via FW, you may see the disk in good order, you should also see the Lion installer within Applications folder. Copy it unto an external disk or flash disk and keep it safe, you will need it again.
