Welcome to the Apple Community.
If both Macs are on the same network, enable homesharing, you can then import music from one to the other without affecting what's already on there.

I would like to transfer music from my account to my wife`s on the same Mac but different 2 users (hers and mine), i want her to have her own i tunes account but now that she has downloaded all of her stuff in my account , she has to "erase and sync" all of her stuff when she opens her account which has nothing in it!, how can i send stuff from my i tunes account to hers? same computer different users, how can i trouble shoot please help!!??

Lost iPhone 4, bought iPhone 5, would like to transfer backup to new iPhone 5 from last synch with computer but don't have the password.
What password? Did you encrypt your backup & now can't remember the encrypted backup passcode? If so, no, you won't be able to use that backup. If on a Mac, & you elected to save the passcode to your Keychain, you can recover it from that. Otherwise, you'll have to delete the backup. The data is unrecoverable.
Or, are you talking about the iPhone passcode? -
I see many discussion about transferring between two different computers but not one with just one computer. My husband and I use one Macbook, have two iTunes accounts and want to share some recently imported music.

Actually, Home Sharing should work in your situation, because iTunes for Mac supports Fast User Switching. (You're better off in this regard than us over here on the iTunes for Windows side.)
The basic trick is that iTunes has to be open in both user accounts at once. Set Home Sharing up in your husband's account. Now switch over to your account, launch iTunes and set up home sharing there. You should be able to see his library now. Transferring from his library is now as per the standard instructions for Home Sharing transfers. -

I have downloaded MAMP for Mac and want to use it for working with Wordpress. I'm on an Imac with Maverick OS 10.9. I had mysql installed before this and would like to uninstall it and use MAMP. It was easy to turn off Apache and PHP but don't know how to uninstall mysql. Please help!!
It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.

The only way I know it might work is with a Mac that can run Classic Mac OS as well as OS X. Even then does Hypercard work with OS 9.2.2?

The genuine Apple adapter works for me, most cheap knockoffs do not support sound ,it is usually in the micro print at bottom of the ebay offerring
It is pricey by comparison but it works and the knock offs usually don't pay the patent licence fee hence they guess the technology that is in the lightning plug

I have a Airport Time Capsule 2T, I would like to know if it is possible to backup all my apple divides (iMac, iPhone and iPad)?
The iMac can back up to the Time Capsule, but iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad back up to either iTunes on your Mac....or....to iCloud.
If the iPhone and iPad back up to iTunes on your Mac, then when the iMac backs up the iOS backups are sent to the Time Capsule as well. So, the iPhone and iPad back up indirectly to the Time Capsule.
The iPhone and iPad cannot back up directly to the Time Capsule.

I have an old Sansa E250 that i used with windows. I have a new iMac and new iPod and would like to transfer that music to iTunes and then sync it to my iPod. Can it be done? I tried plugging the MP3 player in but the iMac doesn't see any of the music. The music is ripped from old CDs and Vinyl. Any help would be appreciated.
Well, according to Sandisk the Music folder should be directly visible in Mac.

Connect the Sansa player to the computer
Mac
1. Connect the Sansa player to the Mac computer.
2. On the desktop, double-click on the Sansa player that shows up.
3. Double-click on the Music folder.
If you can copy the music to it, I would assume you can copy it out of it as well.

I have an i pod touch and have just recieved an i pod one from a friend. it is at factory settings - but i would like to transfer data from the i touch to the new i pad - can't seem to do that. when i go to i tunes to restore - it just wants to restore the blank i pad. any suggestions? Thanks
You need to backup the Touch to your computer and then Restore from that backup with the iPad. This will only work in the Touch is running 5.1.1 or earlier.
