I have an important question about icloud?

I recently subscribed to apple's service to increase my icloud storage to 10 gb.
But i think that i have a wrong impression of how icloud works?
My iphone 4s is left with very little internal storage(100mb).....so i thought that i could use icloud to store data that i can no longer store on my phone.
Is it possible to save downloaded games and music onto icloud instead of saving it into the iphone's internal storage? If it is not possible, i think i want a prorated refund...

Using iCloud doesn't increase the storage on your device. iCloud is designed to back up your phone and sync data on your phone to other devices sharing the same iCloud account. The only exception is if you subscribe to iTunes Match, which is totally separate from your iCloud account. In that case your music library can be deleted from your phone and played/downloaded as desired from your iTunes Match account in iCloud.
Apple's policy is to grand refund on storage upgrades within 15 days. It it's been longer all you can do is call a plead your case and see what they will do for you. The number is in this post: https://discussions.apple.com/message/16968425#16968425.

I have a few questions about iCloud....

1-Is the only way there is to save docuemnts is by using the proper version of say Pages, and save it to iCloud? There isn't a vistual hardisk such as iDisk where I cam store my docuemnts, or pictures, or whatever, and pull them down from anywhere? If there is, where is it located?
2-My wife had an iCLoud account, which is on her phone but not being used for anything. I have one on out iPad. 3-Still about photos. I don't have a desire right now to have a photo stream and when I try to turn off the Photo Stream it tells me those images will be deleted from the device. Why is that? And I know for a fact I nevert turned the stream on because I don't need or want my images being sent out and about, so this is irksome to me.
4-My wife has an iCloud account on her phone but for future use to stream music, but I have my iCal updated to my work computer, iPad and my MacBook Pro. I wanted my iCal info to be on her phone and it seemed no way for that information to merge onto her account. So I then thought I would just take her iCloud account off the phone and put mine on. Seems no way to do that either. Am I missing something obvious here?

If the photos that were not added to photo stream are photos that were on your device before your tuned photo stream on, that's the reason. Photo stream only uploads photos take after turning it on. It should automatically upload photos when you are connected to wifi, have the camera app closed, and have at least 20% battery life remaining. If that isn't the reason, then I don't know why some of your photos weren't added.
To turn off photo stream and keep your photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll first. To do this, open your my photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap the photos you want to save, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. After they are in the camera roll, you can turn off photo stream.
If the calendar you want to share with your wife is in iCloud, you can share that with her as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a8694. If you ever want to change her iCloud account, just go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign into the account you want to use. You can also set up a second ("secondary") iCloud account on her phone by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud. (You could, for example, add your account to her phone as a secondary account and just turn on contacts syncing in the secondary account.)

- 12 Systems are ERP-Systems.

=> Is it possible to put all the 12 ERP-Systems in ONE SAP HANA or do I need one seperate HANA for each ERP-System?
=> If it is possible, can you tell me the disadvantages when I use 1 HANA for the 12 ERP-Systems.
=> Is there a Storage-Limit in the HANA (I think no, because of 64 bit).
=> Can I still make realtime-analytics with 1 HANA for 12 SAP Systems?

There are no disadvantages as of now.. improve existing planning, forecasting, pricing

There is no limit on Stotrage: You need check how much Data you need on RAM (Real time processing) Storage.Minimum you can buy is 64 GB and multiple of it for (RAM)

Have a few questions about iPad before I get one

I have a few questions about getting an ipad before I committ to get one.
I have about 24 gb of itunes purchases in my itunes library, I am thinking of getting the 64 gb ipad. However, after you purchase the 64 gb, it will not truly be 64 gb,
1) how much actual storage space would I have on a 64 gb ipad accounting for the os? On my macbook now I have a 164 gb hard drive but only access to about 148 gb for example.
2) Would I be able to store the 24 gb of itunes purchases in icloud? How would I do that? Would I keep needing to go into the Purchase History tab in the ITunes store and download the song when I want to listen to it? My concern with this is that the item will no longer be "available in the Itunes store" and I will lose access to my music I purchased?
I would like to ditch the laptop and just have the ipad as my computer but want to know about these questions I have first.
3) Can ipad and iphone now be charged without needing a laptop? Per last year's June 2011 conference when Lion and ICloud were announced, it was stated in Fall 2011 with iOS5 that people could get ipads and iphones and charge them without needing a laptop for syncing?

You do not absolutely need a computer in order to use an iPad but you have to do more research to figure out if it will fit your needs that way.

Hello. I can say that you have a quite strange „huge question”… It’s non-sense to stay connected with your car which is hundreds miles away. Unless…
I have a theory. You don’t want to controll your car, you want to controll somebody who is driving the car. Volvo XC 60 is a nice family car, usually used by married men between age of 35-45, probably with small children, so it’s very unlikely that you want to controll your teanage kid, mainly because probably even if you would give him/her to drive the car in the neighborhoud, I don’t think that he/she would be „several hundred miles away”… If your child is not young teneage anymore, and he/she has his/her own life, but you want to control him/her, that is sick… So I am convinced that you want to controll your husband who probably travelling often! iCloud only works with iOS based mobile devices, it works across multiple iOS devices, aside from turning each feature on and off on each device, there is no other management system.

The service is free and includes 5 GB of storage (you'll need to subscribe for more), as such there is no need for a free trial, data caps are a matter for your service provider, Apple has no restrictions.

I have a question about icloud.

I do not have icloud in my system preferences. I have mail set up on icloud and did the transfer of my mobile me account. But icloud does not appear in the system preferences. Where is it or is it not supposed to be there. Mobile me is in the preferences, but not icloud. Thanks.

It's not there in anything less than 10.7.x, no worry, iCloud eMail is about all you have of iCloud in 10.5.x
But no worry, unless you've locked your future to Apple's Apps & iDevices, there really isn't anything usefull about iCloud other than eMail.

Several questions about Icloud, Icloud Photos, IOS8, Photostream and Photos OSX (If it ever happens)

I wasn't sure whether to put these questions in Aperture or Icloud but since the main questions seem to do mostly with how Icloud is currently working with Aperture (until Photos OSX is released - if that ever happens) I opted for Icloud. It's a bit convoluted, so any input is appreciated! I've tried to be concise:

Three icloud accounts plus family share is set up.

Situation overview:
We are new to icloud and IOS (but not mac and Aperture). We previously had Android phones and tablets. Both my partner and I take a ton of photos on each of our respective devices (we run a food blog). Icloud and switching to IOS devices (iphone and ipad) was meant to simplify our lives but we are running into some snags using Aperture until Photos OSX is released--And I dread the thought if OSX Photos doesn't make this simpler in the long run! Right now we are just trying to get our very large (separate) aperture libraries organized and ready for when the update happens. In doing so we have run across some questions:
Right now, in addition to photo stream, Aperture creates a monthly file that is a permanent upload of photos from Icloud. Is Aperture supposed to upload the videos from Icloud as well? I just realized NONE of my videos have uploaded from Icloud. If they are supposed to be importing automatically, what troubleshooting do I need to perform to make this work properly?
If the videos are not uploading, should we just do a manual import of the videos into Aperture? And, I assume that will NOT also bring in duplicate photos as we have that box checked in IMPORT.
Must I leave photos/videos I DO NOT want in the Aperture TRASH in order for the imports to NOT import previously imported/duplicate files? It seems if you empty the trash, how will Aperture know that those were previously imported? This makes the trash huge, however!
Is there a way/is it possible to AUTOMATICALLY have icloud/photo stream import from two (or more) phones/ipads (with two different icloud accounts) into ONE aperture library on ONE machine? In other words, if I want my phone and my partner's phone to upload photos into my food blog Aperture library without having to do a manual upload all the time, how do I make this happen? The need for constant manual uploads will start to become quite a pain!
How do I share A single project with another Aperture Library?
Is there a better way to share an Aperture Library between computers/devices than through an external drive--Given that the Ipad, which I blog with on the road, will not connect to an external drive, we are finding this practice very limiting!
IOS8/Icloud Photos Questions:
I assume that when Photos OSX is released there may be a way to accomplish this (I hope so anyway) but follow me here - My icloud storage can be up to 1 TB but my devices only have 128GB each. Even with "reduce photo size" on my devices turned on, I am going to fill up my phone/ipad in no time! (I only got my iphone in Nov and only have 60G left - Did I mention I take a ton of pictures!?!) There has GOT to be a way to have ALL photos stored on Icloud but only some on your phone!?! HELP!
Within a SHARED FAMILY album, is there a way to create new SUB albums? It seems crazy that I can't organize the photos within that album to create categories like: home, vacation, etc. and shouldn't have to create a new SHARED (non-family) album for each one.
Does anyone know when PhotosOSX will be released and is there any new information as to it's features?
Note to Developers just in case you're reading this: I hope OSX Photos solves every question I have above (and that it still allows for watermarking of photos on export)!
