I have an installation Alert that says to close iTunes. But iTunes isn't being used.
I have an Installtion Alert on my Desktop saying" In order to continue installation, please close the following application. iTunes! But I dont have iTunes running right now and I cant get anything updated or installed. Its just frozed right now. Whats the best plan?

Nothing should be lost... However... it is both Prudent and Recommended that a backup should have been created and maintained.

There are a couple of possibilities that may apply to the email you have received regarding your Apple ID. The first is that the email may be a legitimate warning that your Apple ID has been compromised. For this reason I would suggest that you change the password to your Apple ID as soon as possible. • Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

I have picked up a few epubs from the net that I really enjoy and want to keep. However, when I sinc my iPad with my Mac, iTunes will not transfer the files from my iPad to iBook on my Mac. I have upgraded my Mac to Mavericks and my iPad is running 7.0.2 IOS. Anyone out there have a suggestion?
You have told us nothing about the exact symptoms you're seeing (or not seeing), so with that much (or little) information, I would guess you're facing Apple ID ownership issues. Perhaps the Apple ID you used to purchase the songs on the IPhone 4S is not authorized on iTunes, and'or is different from the Apple ID on the iPhone 5.
Consider using Store > Authorize This Computer in iTunes and see if that helps. -

Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.

I get an alert that says I have no write access for itunes media file. What should I do?
Downloaded it (Firefox Setup 35.0.1) but still have the same problem. I double clicked and right clicked and "Ran as Administrator" but still had the same result. The setup file description shows "7z Setup SFX" so I suspect that is why the popup title is 7-Zip. It tries to extract but at about 80% is when I get the popup.

I have received the alert that my version of Safari no longer supports Youtube viewing. I am running version 5.1.10 on OS 10.6.8. Is there an update or a newer Safari version that is compatible with my OS?
No, not without upgrading to a higher version of the Mac OS. However, the easiest thing to do is get another browser for use with sites that don't like older versions of Saari. I always have a secondary browser on any computer, Mac or PC. For our Macs, I install FireFiox alongside Safari when setting up a new computer.
As FireFox is updated sometimes weekly, YouTube should not have a problem with it.

When opening the version of Iphoto i have an error message appears that says; You can't open your current iphoto library using this version of Iphoto. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iphoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iphoto. What? If I can't open the current library using the latest version of iphoto, and I am asked to make changes the the newest version!!! I'm asked to run in circles chasing my tail...I had a new hard drive installed about 6 weeks ago. I am running MAC OS 10.5.8
What version of iPhoto do you have? If you're on 10.5 then you're not running the latest iPhoto
Any chance that the library was opened with another version?
Simplest solution will be to just restore from your back up. -
i have an 8gb ipod touch that says its disabled connect to itunes but it is locked..when u connect it to itunes it tells you the passscode is incorrect so what do i do , would like to get it working with out losing everything on it if i can but if not i can redo it

Opening iphoto I get an error message that says "you can't open your current photo library using this version of iphoto. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iphoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iphoto." I wouldn't have a clue as to how to change to a new version of iphoto even if I wanted to.
If you don't have a backup you can resort to give this a try:
Starting over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Open the library package like this.
2. Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
3. Drag the subfolders of the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the open iPhoto Library package into the open iPhoto window a few at a time.
This will create a new library with the same Events (but not necessarily the same Event names) as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects.
Note: your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

under windows 7 - 8.1right click on your desktop and choose screen resolution set a very basic resolution like 1280x1024 @ 60Hz (frequency can be set under advanced options); you need to have a working monitor to set this and then reboot connecting your al1916w. if it still gives you that message, can be a bad cable or some hardware monitor issue.

My bluetooth seems to have stopped working in my car. Both phone and car audio says it is connected but nothing comes through car speaker. I no longer have screen on iphone that says to choose audio source. How do I get that screen back?

From Settings you can pull up Control Center.
In Control Center you can enable "Access from within Apps" (also "Access from Lockscreen")
Now when I'm playing music, I can swipe up from the bottom and a little control center window slides up. Neat - this is new since my old iPod. On this window, the name of the current Bluetooth connection appears. Tap on that, and a list of connected Bluetooth items appears. I just tap on the one I want to connect to and I am now playing through the speakers I want.
