I have an interview!

Hi everyone,
After a year or so of using ColdFusion in my spare time (I'm
actually a web designer by trade) I have an interview with a
company in London to become a Junior ColdFusion developer. This is
good news for me because it's an area that has interested me for a
while.
I was just wondering if you guys had any tips for my
interview you could share? Sample questions with particular
emphasis on CF?

As a CF developer who is occassionally involved in the hiring
process, we have always looked for enthusiastic team players who
are keen to learn from others and that are happy to share their
knowledge and skills with the rest of the team.
Also, to reiterate tclaremont's post, my opinion is that
problem solving is the skill that is always required, everything
else can be learned.

Current employer wants 90 days notice, and I have an Interview cross country.

We have a colocated server rack with a local data center and use their DNS.
We were given a range of external IPs we could use. I can navigate to some of them but not others.
I called the data center and they said they don't have anything between us and their DNS and it must be a firewall issue.
I can't figure out what's wrong with my firewall settings though. I'm using a Juniper SSG-550.
I setup a rule that allowed HTTP and PING through and setup a NAT rule for one of the external IPs to an internal one. Can't ping it.
I can ping others that are setup this way, and one IP that has no enabled rules at all!
Where can I start looking to figure out what's going on?

What is the difference between Oranisation ID and Org. ID. Is both are same?

if you are asking for Difference between organisation Id and org id, this is not same,you must check the oracle documentation to understand the organisation model.
Org_id is operating Unit (company)
organisation_id normally be your inventory org.(division)
one org_id can have multiple organization_id
ORG_ID is an Operating Unit
ORGANIZATION_ID is an INVENTORY organization
Each Set of books can have a multiple legal entities.
Each Legal Entity can have Multiple Operating Unit till 11i, you should also note R12 have new LE Model, where OU concept is override by LE.
A Operating Unit can have Multiple Inventory Organization.

IMovie - I have video interview and added photos. I want to add sound to the photos. They are at the end of the video. I added one free music sound over the start of the photo section. How do I continue to add music to the following photos?

My iMovie starts with an taped interview then I added photos.When I added sound it went over the video, so I moved it down over the photos. I want to add more sound (music) over the remaining photos. How do I insert background music at a specific area?

I have added a location to an event in calendar the event has synced to my phone with the address but it doesn't give a preview or the option to direct to the location?

I have spent all morning trying to get locations to add to events on my iMac this now works and has synced with my phone but when I open the event in my phone it has the address but doesn't show a map and doesnt give an option to get directions. I have an interview in a city I've never been to before and will need my phone to direct me from the train station. I know I can just do a search when I arrive but surely there's a way to do it from the calander evernt without having to copy and paste the location from calander to maps?

Interview transcribed but transcript not showing in Metadata

Hi
I have 4 interviews spread across two Premiere projects. I wanted to transcribe them all and left them in the queue overnight on Media Encoder. I closed Premiere.
In the morning, Adobe Media Encoder had green ticks against all four files, showing that they had ben successfully transcribed.
However, in Premiere, none of the four files is showing the transcribed text in the metadata.
The AME log confirms this and gives me the details of the XML files in a temp folder.
Anyone know what I should to to show the transcribed text in the metadata?

I order to see objects in IS/MM explorer. You need to run an integrator against the data base or repository the tables reside in.
So you imported the view into IS/DI correct?

Well , you won't go for shopping when there are already guests in your home , will you? In case, that didn't make much sense, I meant that you won't start reading books, pdfs, looking at websites when you are going to have an interview already scheduled for you. I can bet my money( whatever little I have) that even doing this, won't bring you any good. If your question directly or indirectly is related to the questions that the interviewer may ask, once again, this would be a total wrong approach to go for an interview. In almost no time, it can be find out whether you are speaking some crammed line or from yourself. I had a chance to sit on the other side of the hot seat and the guy in front of me was giving all teh bookish answers. I twisted the questions and I was sure that he must have not read them anywhere, guess what happened. he started fumbling and finally gave up.
Interview is what you know, what you have done so far. Its not to start picking up LOTS of books, looking for the questions/answers and just think that the interview will happen from that only. I have some questions whose answers, at least the complete answers , you won't find anywhere. My suggestion is to just go for the interview, be honest about what you know and more about , what you don't know. You haven't committed a crime by not knowing some thing. I know nothing and I am never scared from the interviews ;-) .

Technically speaking both Formula and Calculated KeyFigure function in the same way. Formula is local to the query and Calculated KeyFigure is created Globally on the Infoprovider which can be accessable to all the Queries. Simply saying Formula is Local ancd CKF is Global.
One more advantage is that you can use them as formula variable .
This is the only way you can use a characteristic for the calculation in the report.
In calcualted key figure you can only use key figure for calculation but through formula variable you can use use characteristic for calculation.This characterictic value can be user input also.
formula refers to a calculation that is local to query. CKF is a global formula that can be used across all the queries based on the same InfoProvider. Formulas have some additional functions available, like SUMCT, SUMGT, SUMRT and their % functions.All these functionas are not available while creating a CKF.

3.Configuration of CO moudle,
Any project which is implemented CO, we have 3 components in that,
a) Inter Order b) Cost center & cost element b) Profit center
and some companies implement Product costing & COPA.
4.Prepare unit test scripts & carry out unit test by himself/herself,
Preparing unit testing, means when U are doing any configuration or developing any report first from our side we will test that, so this is called Unit Testing. The consultant him self do this testing by posting any entry.
5. Prepare integration test script and carry out integration test with
The rest of the team,
FI-MM and FI-SD so if we do the integreation as given, so this is called integreation testing where two modules are involved, so here FI and MM or SD consultant will sit and test by posting the entries. Once it is testing fine we have to prepare the documention for that.
6. Prepare UAT scripts and guide the user in doing uat,
Finally it will be send to UAT (User Acceptance Test) The user will test the configuration or resport by posting the entries and checks from different angles that the system is acting fine.
7. Prepare the training document and conduct the training on CO,
We have to prepare the end user training manual for the end user. In this we will describe with the screen shots and process how to enter the informaton in SAP. and what will be output.

q3. best way to ensure that item can not accept query criteria?Well, actually i don't have any forms now but u could try it urself item property > query criteria (any related query allowed property ) >NO
q4. what is the use of key-other trigger?A Key-Others trigger fires when an operator presses the associated key.
A Key-Others trigger is associated with all keys that can have key triggers associated with them but are not currently defined by function key triggers (at any level).
A Key-Others trigger overrides the default behavior of a Runform function key (unless one of the restrictions apply). When this occurs, however, Oracle Forms still displays the function key's default entry in the Keys screen.

Here is more details in your question.

Ans : Basically in your pricing procedure there is a coloum Subtotal with option A "Carry over price to KOMP-CMPRE (credit price)" it means whichever condition type you will maintain this option system will carry the credit check against the value of that condition type.
2. . Tcode for list of customers
Ans. For standard SAP t-Code is VCUST, for table level go to SE11 and use table KNA1(for General) KNVV (for sales)
3. Can we delete CMR if yes how can we delete, if not why we can delete
Ans. Generally master data which is created in SAP you can not delete. You can only block the customer master for overall or some specific sales area level
4. What is the system landscape of your latest client
Ans. This is totally depands on customer. Some customer keep system landscape like DEVELOPMENT - QUALITY - PRODUCTION
Whereas some client keep DEVELOPMENT - QUALITY - PRODUCTION - SENDBOX (REPLICA OF PRODUCTION SERVER for R&D or for support teams research purpose)
5. How shipment calculation can be done and what r the necessary configuration settings to carry out shipping calculation?
Ans. This question is not cleared that what u required whether shipment cost calculation or transportation time calculation
For Shipment cost you have to make setting in SPRO -- LOGISTIC EXECUTION -- TRANSPORTATION ---SHIPMENT COST (here you maintain the config of shipment cost)
6. . Is solution manager is implemented in ur company, how and why a SD functional consultant can use
Ans. Solution manager is very important implemantation tool. It is kind of document repository where u maintain all information of variouse implemantation steps. It is one place where you maintain the all information of project (whether project related issue with their processing status or other imformation)
