This has nothing to do with iPhoto. When I have this type of problem I call tech support for my email service. They probably are the only source of the correct settings

The key is to be sure you have enabled IMAP on your GMAIL account. Follow the instrunctions on that link. Then be sure to check the Advanced settings from:

1. Reset the AirPlay devices
2. Reboot the router
3. Reboot the iPad

I have purchased a 3TB external hard drive. I took it to the apple store. They moved all of my iTunes to the external hard drive. I still keep getting the message that my start up disc is full. Please help.

What else can I do. All of itunes should be on the external hard drive. I think 3TB is plenty of space. Could it be my iphoto? I moved all those to the external hard drive too.

I have read over and actioned ALL recommendations many times over, and still get the Facetime error..! I have reset Host file, looked for iphone certificates, set time/date to auto, checked for suspect DNS entries, cleared caches etc etc. It's become a very fustrating problem. If Excel works as do other apps, you should be able to tap and hold on the attachment and then select "Open in Excel" in the window that will open. Note that you need to be subscribed to and signed into Office 365 to be able to edit documents in Microsoft's apps.

If this problem continued across an iPad with Retina to an iPad Air it is almost definite it is one of your apps causing the problem. Run it for a day with no apps loaded on it, if it doesn't freeze then one of your apps that has not been updated is causing the issue. And the Technical Service in Spain gave you correct information.
It was no different when Mr. Jobs was still in charge (I was around for iOS 3.0) and it is no different on a Surface or a Note.
