First of all, try another port on your computer. Some ports are not connected direct to the motherboard and do not recognize the iPod as well as those that are. Reset the iPod each time you connect it to another port.

Do I need a different apple ID for each device I have? I have two iPads and an iPod but I can only make purchases with the first one I purchased. It tells me the security questions are wrong but I know they are not because I wrote them down. I have also reset them and my password once. Please help if you can
You can not login into iTunes or the App Store using VPP credentials. You must purchase all apps/book/etc. from the VPP website. Then you can redeem the codes thru itunes/app store or import the codes thru apple configurator. (It will not affect any of the apps you already have but the id can only be used for VPP.)

I bought a used iPod and they were previously signed onto their iCloud account. I have been wanting to change it but I have not been able to sign out of the previous account because I cannot sign out of "Find My iPod Touch" due to not knowing the password. How am I able to shut that off and log into my own account?
You can't. This is a security feature to prevent the resale of stolen iOS devices. You need to contact the seller and have him/her remove it from their iCloud account. Or return and get your money back. See: Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support

Greetings, I have an iPod Touch, that I recently tried to access the apps store. I can't enter my password, due to not being able to switch the keyboard to lower case letters. I tapped on the arrow up button, and it makes a click sound, but the letters do not change. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, but each device will need to have their own individual e-mail addresses as their individual calling Id's.
If you use the same calling ID for all of your units, it will be like dialing your own telephone number when you're using an ordinary telephone -- you get a busy signal and cannot connect.

In the attempt of updating my ipod touch, i am faced with the problem of not being able to be connected to the itunes in my computer (windows xp ) because my ipod touch got blocked up, leaving the icon of USB cable and itunes on my touch screen. I am asked to restore my ipod first, but i have tried using all the examples stated and still can't help. Please please, can some one help me out ? I have an ipad first generation. I am trying to connect to a linksys router and the ipad is not finding the wireless network. What do I need to do? Thanks for your help.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

I just wrote about not being able to send messages on my IPad.Someone wrote back,thanks,about going to settings,outgoing mail etc. and I did that.Now I have no sent mail category.Help.
When you reset the password, you need to enter the password into the outgoing server setting again. I have reset my email passwords a couple of times and I had to enter the password into the outgoing server setting before I could send mail again.
Did you try that? If you did try it, did you try sending an email? You can send yourself an email to test it.
