I have an iPad. Why is it not easy to find "log in" and also to be able to see the balance remaining in the account , once a gift card has been redeemed ? It is very clumsy, not clear which site to be in even!

Can someone please explain where to first of all go (which website) to find "Log In". I seem to do this only by accidentally finding it - going from site to site or page to page. Not sure which. Today, all I wanted to do was look at my account to see how much was left in my account of a gift card I redeemed. I think I am still unsure of the relationship "iTunes" has to products I buy for any device. I thought that I just needed to go to www.iTunes.ca and look for a sign in link. I thought that this account is my sole apple account for any product for any device. Obviously I am not as intuitive as Apple. Help.

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

You can't see a list of when gift cards were redeemed onto an account, you can only see what has been purchased on the account (which doesn't distinguish between how items were paid for).

How can i see if my gift card has been redeemed without redeeming it to my account?
i have a old gift card that i want to give as a gift to someone else, i see the only way to see if it has been used is to "redeem" it by entering the code and redeeming it into your account, but since i want to give it to someone else i cant redeem it into my account, so how do i see if its been redeemed without actually redeeming it?
The Only way to do that is to try to Redeem it and if it has already been used it will tell you.

My $25 gift card has been used once. I hav tried to use it and get a message it has been redeemed. It shows I have $23.71 left. "What is the problem"?
What is the problem? You only redeem it once.
If it shows $23.71, then you still have credit. Just buy something.

The receipt usually takes more time to receive. I got my receipt from about 7:00pm yesterday at about 10:00pm today.

Can I resend am audiobook gift that has been redeemed but can't be located?
Hi all, I have gifted an audiobook on my ipad2 to my sister who redeemed it, but cannot locate it in her itunes account at all. Have tried to resend
as per instructions in itunes by signing in to my account and bringing up gifts (both on ipad and imac), but I don't get the 'resend gift' possibility coming up, I just get 'done'.
Am assuming this is because she did try to open it. She's now asking me to resend it as she says its lost. She hasn't set eyes
on it and as it's a birthday gift, don't want her to have to re-buy it.
Appreciate any help, thanks.If its showing as 'done' on the resend screen and not giving the resend option then that implies that she redeemed the gift onto her account (or somebody has redeemed it). Did she redeem it, and if she did has she checked that computer/device's library, and tried the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on her computer's iTunes to see if that downloads it ? She won't be able to redownload it as audiobooks are a one-time only download.

I logged in after I recd email stating bill was ready. I was slammed with a bunch of &&}^#* tht had nothing to do w my bill...still can't view bill.
Remember guide word is "easy"....When you hooked up to your PC did they attempt to import? Had you imported them previously and not deleted when the import was complete?
If you have to delete them directly on your device, you need to press the select button and just keep selecting until you have all of them selected, then put them in the trash.
You do not need to select one then trash it, then select another then trash it. You can select as many as you like before clicking on the trash icon.

I have an ipad 2, ios7 will not download. I keep getting an error message that just tells me ios wont install, however it does not tell me why. Any suggestions? Thanks
I find the Air easier to work with if I need a keyboard if, for no other reason, that's more compact to carry around than the iPad and a keyboard, even one that is part of an iPad case. I also often have to access data from one application when using another, and iOS is not at its best when having to do rapid application switching (Command-Tab switching is a lot faster than the double press home, scroll the icons at the bottom and swap).
As well, for editing I find the lack of sandboxing on OSX allows for efficiency enhancing utilities across applications, something you don't get in iOS. I understand the reason for that, but while more secure it also creates issues of its own in terms of usability in a number of situations.
I prefer the iPad for totally single application focused situations where little or no input is required. I use my iPad to hold copies of manuals when I'm doing a full day continuing education presentation for CPAs. A MacBook Aire can't really fill in very easily for that usage.
I see them each as tools appropriate for different jobs. -
I have comcast email why is it not automatically updating on my phone and alerting me I received an email? It only updates when I open the email folder.
So I will just have to keep checking my mail folder? That's crazy, I did not have a problem with my Android. Is there a way to get around this? I have been waiting on an email alert and I keep forgetting to check my mail folder, this is very frustrating.

i have just dowloaded the icloud control panel on my PC and i am am able to see everything that has been pushed to icloud from my ipad. However i cannot see my email. i can send from the computer using icloud, but i do not see any mail that is being received by my ipad, which is set up with my mail server. What haven't i checked lol?
turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them
