I have an IPhone 3G and it will not restore. Unfortunatley, I have to make it restore because I cannot use it at all. I have tried to restore it a total of 4 times but each time a message comes up saying that an error has occured. I need to restore the IPhone in order to use it in my daily life. Can someone help me?

did you try to connect in recovery mode? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
If this does not work, try to delete the iphone software file located in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates to make iTunes download a new copy when you connect in recovery mode. Maybe the file stored on your PC is damaged.

Last week I updated my iTunes, updated to iOS 5.0 and ever since I did this my phone has been going nuts. Any time I plug it into a charger I get a screen that tells me I need to connect to iTunes. I have had to restore it multiple times in order for it to work.
I've tried doing resets, restoring to factory-everything that I can find online to do. I've spoken with ATT tech support and done everything they've said to do regarding my greyed out wifi, my phone only working on 3G, and other issues.
The first iPhone 3GS I got had a defective camera, so ATT replaced it free of charge. I've had this one for a year, and quite frankly cannot afford a new one.
If anyone knows anything I can do to fix it, I would really appreciate it.11.1 is now the most recent iTunes. Downloading it may take a bit since everyone got hit today with the need to update their iTunes on the very same day the iOS update came out and you have to update iTunes to update the iOS.
YOu should still be able to charge it without updating iTunes. -
I have an iphone 4 and it will not boot. I've done everything except downgrade the firmware to 6.1.3 or 6.1.4... is this what needs to happen and if so can I please get a link to do so? thanks

Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart. -

you have definitely tried the correct steps, all you would need to do now is a back up & restore to factory settings. If after that the issue remains then you would most likely need a replacement unit.

Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

My i phone will not wifi sync. My wi-fi in my house is good. I have rebooted the wifi. I have it turned on in itunes. I have done a hard reset on my i phone. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
I have an iphone 3g and it will not update one of my e-mail accounts.
I have three e-mail accounts set up, two yahoo and a gmail. one of the yahoo accounts stopped downloading the mail for no reason. I deleted the account, shut off the phone, restarted it and added the trublesome account again without an improvement. I'm open to suggestions.
Have you contacted Yahoo customer or technical support?
