I have an iphone 3G, is there really no way i can update this to ios 6?

No. the iPhone 3G simply cannot run iOS6. it can't even run iOS5. It just does not have the required resources like memory and processor power.
The 3G was released in 2008 (over 5 years ago), for all intents and purposes the iPhone 3G is at the end of its useful life
However depending on what you want to download there may still be some Apps that wiill run on iOS 4.2 for it you can install, but not many. You will have to search the App store for them though.

I had been using iMessage all along with my friend who is using an iPhone 6. I choose to send a sms to him as I do not have any connection, after that there is no way I can send him an iMessage again. Can anyone advise how do I switch back? RegardsWhat do you mean you choose to send him an SMS because you don't have any connection. What kind of connection? Delete the thread with that individual that you sent via SMS, and as long as you have iMessage activated on your device and your friend has an active data connection, it should recognize that and send as an iMessage. Another scenario is to have the friend send you a message that you can respond to.

I have a Sansa mp3 player that is full of tunes I would like to transfer to itunes. I've read other forums, but they are a bit old. Is there a new way I can do this?
You will need to consult the documentation for the Sansa to learn how to get the tracks off of the player onto your computer. Once they're on the computer, either drag the tracks into the iTunes window or use the Add to Library command under the File menu.

SarahFirst you need to research all the problems people are having with the higher OSX versions, & make sure you have a bootable clone of what you have just in case.
then you must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.

I recently bought an iPhone 5s from boost mobile I thought service would be decent but it really *****. I'm wondering if there is any way I can switch carriers maybe to us cellular seeing that they recently added new prepaid plans and have good service in my area. I do know boost operates with sprint but not sure what I can do because having an expensive phone with crappy service really *****
Sorry, but Boost reportedly does not offer unlocking for iPhones, so you're stuck with them unless you can return the iPhone for a refund and cancel the service, or can sell the iPhone to someone who could use it with Boost.

My iPhone 4s notified me that I had to manage my storage so I deleted apps that used a lot of space I deleted almost all my picture and it still keeps telling me I don't have enough storage is there any other way I can make room on my phone ? Were it shows how much storage I have available it still says 9.9 even after all that I have done so I don't know if I need to change my storage plan or what but anything will help I guess
Check for 'others' in iTunes against your iPhone.
Restore from a previous backup to reclaim some of it.

You can also send a remote wipe to the phone via iCloud. There was also the option to send you an email if the phone is located when you were in Find My iPhone. Report it to law enforcement, change the passwords on all accounts that were on the device. Did you have a passcode on it?
