These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.

I have a iPhone 4 that will not stop resetting itself on its own this is my fourth phone and the second to have this problem. I have AT&T so I need to post here instead of actually being held to get help on a Sunday night. this is a extremely frustrating situation as I count on this phone for business.
Are you restoring your phone from a previous back up? If so there could be a problem within the back up. Try restoring your phone as a new device and then manualy reinstall all apps.

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. My iphone 5 died so I plugged it back in to charge and it will not turn on. It will turn to the screen with the apple logo and black screen then turn off again. Any suggestions?
I leave it charging until it gets back to full, usually it turns on after a little bit of time after plugging it in, but all its doing is going to the apple logo screen and going blank again.

i backed my iphone up then i restored my phone and when i tried to open it asked if i wanted to hook up with iTunes or iCloud i hit use back up to iTunes and it will not go anywhere ive plugged it in and replugged it in and i get nothing past that ive restared my mac and my phone

Plug it into the charger that came with the iPhone and plug that into a known good wall outlet. Leave it plugged in for 20 minutes. Then while still plugged in reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have a G72 laptop that will not turn on. The power button simply does nothing. I know that the battery is at least charging because when I plug it in, the LED indicator is white saying that it is charged. Sometimes when I take the battery out and put it back in it starts up for a split second, then a second or two later shuts off. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!
