I have an iphone 4 and recently ive been trying to use facetime but when it connects it hangs up before i can even see a face

I need help seriously. I have turned my phone off then on I've reset it by using the home and power button idk what to do I'm really getting mad at my phone. I know stupid first world problems :(

Maybe updating iOS to 7.1 will fix it.

It's probably asking you to verify the security code found on the back of your credit card.

If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...

If you forgot (or don't know) your passcode, restore the device from backup on the last computer it was synced with when the passcode was turned on... this will remove the passcode. If you do not have access to the last computer it was synced with, or you don't have a backup, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device.

Only thing I think you can do is to try and appeal to Apple's better nature and explain what has happened, I would not hold your breath though.

That's the whole issue. I want to run/install photoshop elements but I have to have 10.8. for that. So...be fore I install an upgrade (Yosemite is getting BAD press) I thought I'd check my back up...it's not there...I have the seagate plugged in and the usb into the back of the mac...when I try to turn the time machine "ON" it says airport device not found not ....

HT201263 I have the ipad 1, and I tried to reboot it but when I connected my ipad to the computer it did nothing. When it is charging the apple logo simply flashes on and off again. It is trying to start up but can't. Help!

I have an ipad and the only thing it does when you plug it in to the wall is flash the start up apple logo. It will not reboot because itunes can not reconginze it. I have tried holding the home and power button's together but it doesn't help.

I'm sorry, you are correct I am trying to restore my ipad because it stopped working.   We thought the battery was dead so we plugged it into the wall charger. All it does when plugged in is flash the apple logo like it is going to start up and then shut off. It repeats this every few seconds while it is plugged into the wall. I let it charge overnight and still nothing.
When I hold the power button and the home button down together while the ipad is plugged into the wall, it does flash then after I release the power button the connect to itunes screen comes on.   But when I connect it to my computer it goes blank.   itunes does not recongnize my ipad when I plug it into the computer. I have used the same cord to plug in my other devices and itunes recongnizes them so it isn't the usb cord.
It seems as if my system has crashed and I think this may just be an apple service trip for me. But thanks so much for the advice.   =D
