I have an iphone 4s and i need to unlink it from my apple id and itunes
Good morning to whomever is there, I have an apple iphone 4s that i am trying to sell. The problem that I am having is the person that bought my phone is now returning it because her son was unhappy with it. She keeps telling me that the phone is still linked to my apple id. How can I remove this device from my apple id? Thanks to anyone and everyone that may answer.
Thank you so much for your info. I guess i dont understand because i did everything that you stated. I had looked up that info on the apple\icloud\itunes and did exactly as it said. When i restarted the phone it said welcome and set up screen came up. I also went back into the website and could no longer find my device. Why am i being told that the phone is still connected to my itunes? Now this woman's slamming me on ebay. I seriously just want to cry.

I just updated my iTunes, and I need to delete photos from my iPod 4, and there is a Photo Library that synced to my iPod when i plugged it into my computer, and now it doesnt have the option to delete them off my iPod. Create NEW account/ID for them using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Use the new ID on their devices but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
Settings>GameCenter
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases. -
I have an iPod nano and an iTouch. I used to buy songs off of my iTunes account on my iTouch, and would sync them onto my computer. I would then sync the songs on my computer onto my iPod. However, i got a new computer which complicates things. I thought that I would not have to save all my songs onto a thumbdrive on my old computer, because i would be using the same iTunes account; I thought iTunes would be able to pull up all my songs on my account onto the new computer. This was not the case. I signed into iTunes with my account (the account is the same for iPod, iTouch, old computer), but it gave me a blank library. I then tried "transfering" my songs from my iPod onto my new computer, but it only pulled up about ten songs; most of the songs on my iPod were either from CDs or purchases on my iTouch. I need help on how to get my songs from my iPod or iTouch onto my new computer!! Any help would be great!!

I read online that the phone has an internal storage that keeps all data when phone is used and that this internal storage can be accessed. I need the contents of particular messages for evidence in court. How do I get into the internal storage? I've tried some of the methods that people post online, but none of them have been successful. Help!
If you still have a backup from that point in time as part ofr your computer backup history, you could restore the backup folder, restore the phone from that backup and have the messages on the phone.

Yes, the phone will still be connected to your Verizon account. In order to remove it from your Verizon account, you will either need to activate another phone on that number or disconnect the number.

Hello. I have an iPhone 4S. I need to get a picture sent to me a little over a month ago. It is still in iMessages in a conversation. However, as i scroll up and click on the picture, iMessages closes down on me. Is there anything I can do to get this picture?
Close out of the message app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for your phone to boot back up.
Then check and see if you can save the pic. -
Me and my partner are currently using the same apple id and have no space left on our devices. We are currently waiting on the iphone 6 plus to arrive and don't know how to transfer all data to the new phones.?

What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

You should have been syncing your contact with your computer all along. Just sync them from the computer to the new iphone.

Hi, I bought my iPhone in Canada but have moved to Australia. I need to speak with someone at Apple Canada what is the best way to do this? Is there is an e-mail address? When I call the Apple Canada number it says I can't call from my location.
In what way did you buy your iPhone? If you paid full price at the Apple Store then your phone should be provider unlocked and should work with practically any SIM card you choose to insert in it. If you bought it cheaper with a contract then it's provider locked then your best bet is to call your cellular provider in Canada. Be sure to note your IMEI number (Settings > General > About) as they're going to need it to do an unlock. Be aware they may or may not charge for this.

I have an iphone 4, when I plug in headphones I can pick up music and only background sounds, but no voices. It happens on every video or movie I see, but music works perfectly fine. Did anyone else have this problem or was it just me? If not can anyone help me?

It sounds like your vocal audio is not working with your headphones connected to your iPhone. I would start with the troubleshooting from the following article to help troubleshoot them named:

Update your software
Install the latest version of iOS. You can see which version is on your iPhone by going to the About screen.
If the device doesn't update successfully, the issue might be with your device and not the accessory. Learn how to check your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Disconnect and inspect the accessory, then restart your device
Disconnect the accessory and turn it off, if possible.
Inspect the connection between the accessory and device and make sure that no debris or other damage is present.
Restart your iOS device by turning it off, then back on. When the Home screen appears, reconnect the accessory.
Try a different device
Make sure the issue is with the accessory, if possible. Always use an identical or similar, compatible device with the accessory you're troubleshooting.
If there's static coming from the left audio channel when you use headphones, try connecting the headphones to a similar device.
If the device isn't syncing when connected to the dock, connect it directly to the computer using the Apple 30-pin to USB Cable or try another USB port.

with icloud it merged our games and contacts and its a pain but before ios 5 with cloud it worked normallyKeep your shared AppleID for iTunes purchases, but use separate iCloud accounts for syncing. would suggest also using the separate accounts for iMessage.

If your phone is offline, the ONLY way to find it is to look for it the old fashioned way. Your phone CANNOT be located electronically if it's offline.
