I left the apple store fast due to the fact i was in a bad car accudent and i am in a wheelchair and cant stay seated like that long due to a broken leg. Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

Yesterday my little cousin was playing in the table and he kicked the table leg and made the iphone fall in to the ground. I bought this iphone unlocked on July 2012 and it has Repairs and service coverage active until july 16 of 2013. Last year a friend of mine went to an app store and changed his broken screen iphone 4 for a 4s, ofcourse he had to put some money to make it happen.
Now I am wondering how much it will cost me to change the screen of mine, or if it worth it to change for a new 4s or a 5.
Also I am out of the states until Feb 22 and in this country there is a bad reception on the phone calls so its complicated talking to apple support.

It will be replaced with the exact same model. It is not expensive compared to the full retail price of a new phone (without carrier subsidies).
If you're eligible for an upgrade from your carrier, now might be a good time to consider upgrading to an iPhone 5, though.

It sounds like you accidentally restored your new iPhone 5 with the backup of your iPhone 4S. If you want to return the iPhone 5 to factory settings, and have the option to setup as new, you'll want to restore it with iTunes (omitting the steps about backing up and restoring from backup):

I downloaded the new IOS 6 on my IPhone 3Gs as it prompted me to do so. so that took 45 mins then told me to connect to Itunes in which i did, then it took 39 mins for itunes to "restore" my phone and after the 39 mins it told me Apple unable to restore IPhone and shut me out. Next a screen popped up on my computer screen and said that i could report the problem to Apple if i wanted to. But at this point my phone is completly locked out. So all i get from my phone right now is the Apple on the screen and the download bar under it and or a block screen if i unplug it and the battery dies. which when i did the upgrade my phone was just off a fresh charge! i need help like ASAP i leave out of town on thursday it is monday and i need a phone with GPS and that can make calls! i am pregnate and have a 2 year old i am traving with and we have no house phone so my phone is very important! Some heating is normal when in use. It's only abnormal if it gets too hot to hold in your hand. If it's in a case, take it out, and move it to a cooler environment. If it gets to be a big concern, make an appointment at a Genius Bar to have it evaluated.
