I have an iPhone 4s and it went dead but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the battery. I've plugged it into the charger and it won't charge. I've plugged it into my computer, and it doesn't recognize it. HELP!!

Sorry it has taken so long for someone to reply to you. What you want to do is go to Settings > General > Siri > Raise to Speak OFF.

There are two ways to get rid of them on your iPhone:
1. Get rid of them on your computer, and then sync your iPhone to your computer using iTunes.
2. Plug your iPhone into your computer, open iTunes, click on your iPhone's row on the left, go to the "Photos" tab on the top right, and uncheck "Sync Photos", then click "Apply" in the lower right.

Unless you purchased the iPhone direct from Apple in the UK and paid full price either on line or In an Apple Store then it will be locked to a UK Carrier and only that carrier can arrange unlocking
It is unlikely that the iPad is similarly locked as most are sold carrier free unless specifically purchased from a UK carrier as part of a packaged deal involving a subsidy on the price of the iPad ( not very likely but they do exist )

I have an iPhone four and ever since i updated my iTunes to the latest verison it will not connect to my computer or anything. It charges in the wall just fine. It makes the noise when i plug it in but wont charge or connect to iTunes. It is not my cord.

My cord is not the problem I have two different cords but neither of them work. What could be the problem? I can still charge my phone through the wall, but until this is fixed I basically can't use iTunes.

Press Ctrl+t to open a new tab and verify that it worked. Fixed?
Note: as per cor-el's suggestion, open the Google page you want and copy the "final" URL from the address bar to paste in when you update this setting. If you use a shortened version, then Google will send Firefox a redirect every time, which is a waste.
