I cant even get into itunes because it wont recognize it to do a reboot or a rollback.

File Sharing failed between my Mavericks iMacs. The console logs showed that the target iMac saw the ntlmv2 protocol as unknown to the kdc. I fixed it by enabling Windows File Sharing on the target Mavericks iMac. I had tried disabling SMB on both iMacs and leaving AFP on, but then nothing happened when I tried to connect. Why did I have to enable Windows File Sharing to share files between two Mavericks iMacs?
When you enable file sharing you need to have either SMB (Windows) or AFP (historically Apple-native) file sharing checked. The default in Mavericks is SMB, and not AFP.
If you uncheck both, then the system will turn off file sharing. Apple supports the use of both SMB and AFP connections in Mavericks, so with only AFP enabled you should have been able to establish a connection, but there could be a small bug or configuration-specific snafu that you're encountering.
With AFP enabled only, try pressing Command-K in the Finder to open the Connect To Server dialogue, and in here enter the address to the system using afp:// as the protocol, such as the following (the name can be looked up in the Sharing system preferences):

Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.

There are only users here who have no idea the answer to your question whith so little information. What year did you buy your Mac and your daughter's Mac. What MacBook model's are they both? From whom did you buy them, directly from Apple or a 3rd party vender? The more details the better to offer ideas. -
Why did I have to create a new ID when I logged into Communities this morning? Appears I don't have any history anymore either. I used the same browser and username/password (its stored in my browser) and it asked me to fill out my profile and pick an alias. Not sure what the deal was, it appears Apple can't figure out this whole id thing. I've used other community sites for over a decade without having to change my user/profile, I don't understand why this is such a pain with Apple.
Agreed! I was trying to find out how to reclaim my old name since I use it for all sites. I can't seem to find the answer so I made a new one to ask questions before giving up on it.

I am still on Fx 3.6.18 because quite frankly 5.0.1 looks horrible.
Why did you have to change everything and move things around. Why couldn't you have given us the same layout as 3.6.18 but with these new upgrades.
I will never download Fx5. 3.6 was perfect.

In Firefox 4+ versions there's a Help > Submit Feedback... menu item which leads here: http://input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback <br />
But you can't submit feedback there with an older version of Firefox, currently you need Firefox 5.0 or higher.
The decision to change the GUI was made by Mozilla collectively, not by a small group of developers or by one person. If you put your efforts toward customizing Firefox to suit your tastes, it would be a lot more productive than trying to find out who to blame and where to complain about the changes made to Firefox. Geez dude, it ain't the end of the world. It's only a web browser, which can be easily modified to make it look like you thing it should look. -

You can't get a new DVD, which is what RG said. VUDU, the download service Walmart resells, is a different subject and not what RG was referring to.
But what some other company can allow is irrelevent to the issue. From the iTunes Store, movies can be re-downloaded only in the US, and then only from those movie studios that have allowed it. This is not by Apple's choice; it's completely the choice of the movie studios.If your movie is not available under the Purchased section of your iTunes Store account, then redownloading is available only if you purchase the movie again.

You can only get help from those people who told you to modify the software, only they know what the jailbreak did to the firmware. -

Hi, I have an iPhone 3G. I had it unlocked by Apple, now my Apps don't work. They open then immediatly close again. I have tried: syncing, reseting, reloading the Apps. Can anyone help!?
settings->store and make sure your appleID is set correctly if it's not then what you exp would happen

I have a iPhone 4 S 16 GB. I cannot connect to my home Wi Fi. I tried following some suggestions I saw out here but nothing helps. It just keeps trying and trying to connect.
You didn't say what you have already tried, but if you haven't already done so, power-cycle your router (unplug it for 15 seconds then plug it back in), then on your phone go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Reset Network Settings, then try joining your wifi again.

I lost my iPhone, but it's been more than 24 hours so iCloud won't let me see the last known location of the device, and i need the map of it's last know location to find the phone, how do i get the map of it's last known location?
It's not likely to re-connect to a network lying on the ground somewhere and getting rained on, it would be really great if I could see that map again so I could use it's last known location to find it. Kind of pointless to have a 24 hr killswitch deadline. If I had known I would have taken a screen-shot while I still had access to the information. Since I lost the phone at Canada's Wonderland (which is now closed for the season) I don't have access to the location where I lost the phone (under a roller-coaster probably), and so I wanted to send the Lost And Found people a screen-shot of it's last known location, but I guess I can't do that now. (Apple are big jerks)
