I have an iphone 4s with ios 7. imessage between iphones works fine. When I try to message an android phone with an attachment (picture) it wont deliver and the party cannot send a picture to me. Thw only way it will work with android is if I turn data on. A simple message will work with Wifi, with no attachments
This does not seem right. You should be able to send attachments to android party on Wifi???
MMS requires cellular data. Sending pictures through iMessage can be done either using cellular data or WiFi. You're phone is working as designed.

I have downloaded the HD version of a movie from itunes, but when I sync it to my iPad 2 it will not play. It appears that it is on the iPad, but it will not play. Is this because it is HD, and if so is there a way to change it from being HD? Thanks
I'm having a similar problem ... just used my iPad 2 to purchase the Bourne trilogy and it downloaded fine but I did not try to play it right away. Then I plugged the iPad into the computer and it downloaded the SD versions of the movie and I used iTunes to sync my movies. Then I tried to play it and it said it could not open the movie. I then did a full iPad restore and did a fresh sync and now I get the Cannot Opne pop up. Did you ever find an answer to your question?

I have taken off/turned off iCloud on my mac mini (OS 10.8) but when I send an email and use contacts , it will convert the non - iCloud email to an iCloud email automatically. Anyway to stop this automatic conversation?

If that doesn't help, launch iTunes on your computer.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
Click OK.
Restart your computer.
If that that doesn't help...
Moreover, when I try to go into my .mac account on the web,
Delete all apple cookies and empty your browser cache.
See if you can access your account at iCloud.com -
I tried to update my phone. The update didnt go all the way through, and ended up freezing the screen on my iphone with an itunes icon on it. I tried to reboot phone with no success...the icon stays on there with no other function of the phone available. Anybody know of a fix?
Put your iphone in dfu mode by doing this. Turn your iphone off. When its off, hold home and power button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button and keep holding home button for another 10 seconds. Then open up itunes on your pc and plug your iphone to your pc. Itunes should recognize your iphone in recovery mode and it will tell you to restore it. Click restore, and your iphone will restore. Remember that, if you do this you will lose everything that was on your iphone. You can restore from backup later on. Hope I helped. I have an iphone6 16gb and the device storage is showing more than what i have installed in it. A few days ago suddenly i got a popup window of my device storage getting full though i hardly had 4-5 apps and 500mb of photos. I tried restoring the phone and using it again as a new phone, i got my 10gb of storage but it still holds around 900 mb of storage which is not accounted. When i connect my phone to itunes, around 868mb is shown in the others section. I have no backed up data except for the contacts which are there in the icloud account. i dont understand what is that 868 mb of data.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...

Note, in 10.5 & up /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/ may or may not exist. -
